And I found it very amusing. Today, I went to Gamestop to see if they had the Black Wii Remote bundle and component cables for the Wii. I found what I was looking for and still had some cash to buy a game. So I look at the Wii selections and debate whether to get this game or that game(You know what I mean right?) So the associate looks at me with this confused look that someone like me is looking at the Wii games(I was assuming at the time) He walks over and says "Need any help sir?" "Not yet. I'm just looking for a new game." He looks at me odd and with a hint of attitude he says; "For you or your little sister" I started to get annoyed and said "For me. Got a problem?"
And it begins.
"Well sir, someone like you would probably like the XBox 360 or the PS3 since the games that they offer are more suited for you and I for example"
"Well, I'm not a Sony fan so I won't be getting a PS3 any time soon and My 360 I play for 30mins to an hour. Meanwhile I play with the Nintendo Wii for over 5-10 hours. So again I ask, Do YOU have a problem with my system of choice!?!?"
He then calls his manager and manager and I are friends so then I then about about his co-worker and he did apologize. I got a 15% discount of my purchase and just before I walk out I ask him "What's your primary system?" "The Xbox 360" "Ok. I can respect that. Why didn't you respect mine?" "I was just shocked to know someone around my age has the Wii as their main system"
So, has anything like this ever happened to you? And the bold quotes are mine.

That guy sounds like a ****.

I may not like the wii, but I have enough decency to respect one's gaming choice.

As for me, I had a guy who wouldn't stop trying to get me to not buy Castlevania Lament of Innocence for PS2.

He kept telling me it sucked compared to the rest and that I shouldn't get it, when I had already told him, "I've had this game before, and I loved it, but sold it. I want it back now. This was my favorite Castlevania, so don't give me shit for it."

He then shut up.

What a prick. And I'm going tomorrow to see if he's fired. As for Lament of Innocence, I heard it was bad but three of my friends said the same thing (what you said)and I found it to be decent but no where near bad as the "reviews" said.

I may have just liked it so much because it was the first Castlevania I ever played.

I loved it though. I'm planning on buying my old PS2 back so I could play all my PS2 games again and this is at the top of my list to get with Maximo: Ghosts To Glory.

I seem to be the only one who remembers/loves that game.

I lack the system to play Maximo. So judging by your post, it was a great game.

It [i/]was[/i] a great game.

It was based on Super Ghouls and Ghosts (one of my favorite childhood games) and it was a fantastic remake.

If you ever play Darksiders, its actually very similar to that only more cartoony much more challenging and more enemies.

Interesting to say the least. I might try going in instead of buying games online.

Sorry Dude, But if i was that gamestop employee Id've probably acted the same as him, ONly because i hate the wii with a firey passion. (i have non-fanboy reasons)

He is stereotyping and working off the rule of averages, Why were you being so touchy about it?

(p.s, I have beef with the Wii Control method, Long story short, It damaged a guitar of mine)

As stated, it was his attitude when he asked who was the game for that bothered me the most.

So you hold a grudge against the Wii because... someone threw a wiimote at your guitar? What?

I would have been equally surprised, to be honest. Although he should have dropped it earlier.

Fair enough, I think its a valid question, but i cant argue with the way he said it (i wasn't there). Its kind of like the girl problem, If any woman sets foot in there they would assume its a gift they're buying, So treat her like someone who knows nothing about games, Sure they'll offend girl gamers, But im sure 75% of the women in there aren't GG's.

Well my father swung a wiimote, Snapping a few strings on my guitar.

Theres that, And the fact that if im playing a game on PC/Xbox/PS & i press a key and it doesnt respond, Then the game is broken, Yet flailing my arms on the way shown on screen doesnt work repeatedly means the game isnt broken, Im just doing it wrong & looking like more of a Tit in the process. Thats not entertaining for me, It just builds rage, and is the reason i've now veto'ed the Wii. (my little brother has one, And i refuse to go near it)

Whats weird is that many of the Wii's early titles actually had good motion detection. Seems to have gone down hill since then. Anyway I don't mind (I mean you only need to twitch your wrist for half the shit anyway). I only have a Wii for the first-party titles though so... guess I more of a Nintendo fan than a Wii fan if that makes sense.

You see, I loved the GC, And was Really looking forward to the Ninty Revolution...Then it became the Wii & things went downhill from there (in my opinion).

I mean, They even made me hate Wii Mariokart. I loved all the Mariokarts up too DS, Then they made THAT.

Although I will agree it is the weakest of the franchise I still enjoyed it. Mainly because of the retro tracks and I can race as Jesus and Lucifer.

I feel compelled to provide these strips from the Rooster Teeth comic series.
