Pokemon and YuGiOh were big for me. I never got into Digimon, the names kinda got on my nerves. They all ended with -mon...it was just so bland! And BeyBlades seemed just silly to me. I can handle battling cards and holograms and furry animals that can say their own name, but tops are where I draw the line. Just too much of a gimmick.

i did play yu-gi-oh never got into the pokemon card game, but i loved the show

I used to be an epic Yu Gi Oh (Don't really care if that's how you spell it) dueler. Yeah, I know how cool I am, you don't have to tell me.

I actually enjoyed that game right up until everyone stopped playing, it was fun....don't judge me.

No judgement here. I still have a bucket of those cards in my basement, I think.

I'm pretty sure I still have my three Blue Eyes White Dragons around here somewhere...

Poke'mans are still top in my book, and I was a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh for a while... Until it started getting milked out the ass..

Also, I kinda like Bakugan... But only because the little marble thingies are cool.

i never really got into the digimon games but i watched every season of the show and "pwned" on the card game (that was so mind boggling for my thick friends so i had to play with people 5 years older)

For a while everyone was trying to jump on the Poke'mon bandwagon by making their own shows where small children tell animals/robots/other to fight each other. What was your favorite of these shows?
Mine was Medabots as robots are always awesome, you don't feel like a bad person for watching robots tear each other apart and the main robot was an angry sarcastic self absorbed jerk.

Woah, I had totally forgotten about Medabots. I used to love that show.

Well, when I was little, I always used to like everything my uncle liked (I guess it was because I didn't really have any friends and needed some leadership), but for some reason, I always stuck to Pokemon. Sure, I liked Digimon and Metabots and whatnot (Oh, and by the way, the main robot's name is MetaBee), but I always stuck to the original 'Mon's.

Another lil obscure show not many people remember is Mon Colle Knights. I kinda fell in love with it when I was flipping through channels and saw the season ender. Wish I coulda seen more of it.

Shaman King is also along the lines of these Tournament shows, for that matter, you could probably lump in Naruto and One Piece as well.
