Iron Maiden - Fear of the dark (The live version)


The way it starts off slow with the crowd woahing along with the guitaring just sounds awesome, especially when you are there amongst the crowd woahing along, has to be Maidens best song!

mine would be Always Will Be by Hammerfall, Never Forget by Diecast, The Incurable Tragedy III by Into Eternity, and Into Eternity by Into Eternity.

The entire album "Storm of the Light's Bane" gives me goosebumps, both because the songs are so incredibly good and because it sounds so cold.

A few of Buckethead's more mellow songs give me the chills too. Angel Monster and Whitewash come to mind.

Sonata Arctica always put so much thought and feeling into their songs
My Selene is excellent, but the piano at the beginning of Caleb was fantastic, and Shamandalie always gave me goosebumps, due to the lyrics.

And I also have to agree with those saying Elfen lied - the series wasn't one of my favourites, but the OP was very good. I find that the naku koro ni series also has amazing openings, for example:

It would have to be the instrumental part at the end of Cruifucks by Gallows. It doesn't just give me goosebumps it makes my blood run fucking cold every time!
If you want to skip to it, 3:20 is a good place to start.

Only two songs have really given me goosebumps.
(Hospital Vespers) by the Weakerthans from their cd Reconstruction Site
and...well, it is not really a song, it is a piece music from the anime Bleach. It is a weird out of sync chorus(?) that the show plays during flashbacks and sometimes when they are talking about hollows.

Ah, Higurashi. One of my favorite anime ever (sadly, I just can't get my hands on manga) and this opening is really darn awesome. Usually, I skip the opening after seeing few episodes, but I never skipped this one during entire first season.
