Going through my library I dug up these gems (It's a long one, and I cut it down. This is the smallest list I could come up with):

A Perfect Circle - The Fiddle and the Drum (eMotive)
Aphex Twin - Beetles (Richard D. James Album)
Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboy (Trans Canada Highway) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lEsLcGB7Vo
Colour Haze - Tempel (Tempel)
Daft Punk - Around the World / Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (Alive 2007) [I saw this live. Anyone who missed it should really consider what they're doing with their life.] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGECJP3phyY&feature=fvw
The Desert Sessions - Holey Dime (The Desert Sessions - Volumes 9&10)
Devin Townsend - Solar Winds (Ziltoid The Omnicient)
Eddie Vedder - Hard Sun (Into The Wild)
Hilltop Hoods - Stopping All Stations (The Hard Road)
Jose Gonzales - Cycling Trivialities (In Our Nature)
Kyuss - Whitewater (Welcome to Sky Valley) [You can put the whole album here. Seriously]
Monster Magnet - Melt (God Says No)
Nine Inch Nails - The Great Below (The Fragile)
Puscifer - Momma Sed (Tandimonium Mix) (V is for Viagra)
Solar Fields - Summer (Earthshine) [Random factoid: Solar Fields did the soundtrack to Mirror's Edge. Despite protests from the console crowd, it was a decent game]
Strapping Young Lad - Detox (City) [If anyone says that something is more brutal than SYL, then I suggest fisticuffs]
The John Butler Trio - Mist (Grand National)
The Postal Service - The District Sleeps Alone Tonight (Give Up)
Tripswitch - Roll Your Own (Circuit Breaker)
Ween - If You Could Save Yourself (You'd Save Us All) (Quebec)

I'd like to contest that claim. For your consideration: Nile, Cephalic Carnage and Guttural Secrete. All play stuff that is very distinct, and all are more brutal than sir Townsend & co. Not necessarily better stuff (though I would argue that at least some of it is) but more brutal.

Also, an addendum to my earlier post: 'I'm But A Wave To...' by Cynic and 'No Return' by God Is An Astronaut.

Aaaaaaand here's another one. This song is rather special to me, since my family came from Ireland, and I'm really interested in Irish culture and history.
(Incidentally, I could only find a clip with a home-made video, for which I shall take no credit.)

Quite simple, what are the songs give you goosebumps?

Iron Maiden - Fear of the dark (The live version)

The way it starts off slow with the crowd woahing along with the guitaring just sounds awesome, especially when you are there amongst the crowd woahing along, has to be Maidens best song! :)

EDIT: also the discussion value here is mainly sharing with each other songs which you think are awesome!
one of the best songs ever, and it's only better live.

mine would be Always Will Be by Hammerfall, Never Forget by Diecast, The Incurable Tragedy III by Into Eternity, and Into Eternity by Into Eternity.
Hmm... Maxx liking something English. What has the world come to?

I do agree with Always Will Be though, great song.

Ian..it's because Maiden is one of the greatest bands of all time hands down. at one point they actually opened for Arch Enemy. not a lot of people know that. it was pretty much epic

Crawling. After I saw that part in the Mummy/National Treasure? when the guy has a beetle literally crawling beneath his skin, I was freaked out.
