I love you. No, seriously. That's such a great song! I have a hard time classifying it as "beautiful," but it's got a lot of wonderful things going on. When the lady kicks into the operatic singing, it definitely takes me to a very happy, bouncy place.

My song to add to this thread is certainly just one of the many renditions of Music, Us from Sound Tribe Sector 9. I much prefer the version from the 08-09 show, but that one doesn't exist on YouTube in any respectable form (just bad home-recordings with terrible audio), so instead, I give you this one.
Just a beautiful piano harmony, an easy rhythm, sparse, inspiring lyrics, a slow build of guitar-work to a wonderful crescendo that gives me chills every time. This is good stuff.
I also find this song strangely beautiful, though I don't know if I should. Just something about it that is....gorgeous.
Oh, Gawd yes. I don't listen to much Coldplay, but DEFINITELY THIS. Actually, it's the only song of theirs I've actually bought. It resides in a special place in my memories for me.
Brings me a sense of peace and tranquility every time.
Anything McVaffe from OCRemix does, but his Gau's Lament [http://ocrmirror.iiens.net/files/music/remixes/Final_Fantasy_6_Gau%27s_Lament_OC_ReMix.mp3] a remix of Gau's Theme from FFVI always gets to me.
Well try as I might I have never been able to find this song on the net - though I'm sure there are those out there who can actually use the net and find the needle in the haystack as it were. Anyway the single most "beautiful" song ever played as far as I'm concerned is King Kurtis' live saxophone rendition of Procal Harmen's Whiter Shade of Pale. Now anyone who has seen the awesomeness of Withnail & I may know it as it's the first song you hear during the opening scene. To be honest I don't really care for the original version of the song, well not as much at least, it's good not great. But there is just something special about the song.
