All l was trying to get across was that companies shouldnt make a console then make a lose on it and relie on games to make them money.

And anyways in my view sony havnt made one amazing game for the ps3

To be honest, if there was one company in the world i'd like to see go bust, that would be Sony.

It's not because of the Playstation either, or any fanboy rage. They keep pissing me off with DRM, Rootkits and are basically my nemesis. I actually really liked my original Playstation but since they started playing funny buggers i've stopped wanting to buy anything of theirs.

Agreed. All that plus Sony Picture's CEO making comments like the internet isn't good for anything. Ever. They are stuck in the past and deserve to die for it.

As interesting as it is reading advice from people who think they know better than ALL of Sony's Marketing/Accounting teams, its nothing new to hear of a business faltering during the recession.

But their actually boxing clever, they get their consoles out, even though it is costing them a lot to manufacture, but then when the recession ends, the game sales will spike and Sony will start seeing their losses balanced by their new customers buying software for their consoles.

Sorry, I'm getting greedy... I swore I'd be happy with just FFXIII, but damn that game got good reviews and looks like a blast.

Sure, Microsoft just need to write a checque to Sony for $50 billion, and they need to fully overhaul the 360 so that its up to the neccesary standards to play inFAMOUS.

There's a fanboy if I've ever seen one. The 360 and PS3 have quite comparable specs, and the 360 wouldn't have a problem with a game like Infamous. You hang on to that fanaticism though, it's nice to see true passion these days.

The creators of the damn game know more than you. Maybe you should stop listening to Microsoft and start listening to the people who are actually using the Ps3.

Nice words for a fanboy to cling to. You see developers saying this about every system, and most of them are probably getting paid. If I cared enough to look, I could show you an article where a developer complains about how difficult it is to make a game for the PS3. You can pay anyone to flatter, simply, and I've yet to see any true proof of the PS3 having significantly more capable hardware than the 360.

I might also point out that Square-Enix were saying that the PS3 was the only place they could make FFXIII... Months before it was announced for the 360. Ah shoot.

I still don't see Infamous coming out for the 360, seeing it's publisher, but at least I'm not so blind as to utterly deny the merits of a competitor out of some misguided need to protect a company that doesn't need it (or perhaps to justify my purchase).

EDIT:

MW 2, Prototype, Halo 3: ODST and Assassins Creed 2 are the games of this year...and they're mutliplatformers.

*BZZZZZ* WRONG! God Of War III is game of the year, inFAMOUS kicks the crap out of Prototype, and Halo ODST doesn't even rate - Uncharted 2 will rate higher.
