That's cute, let me just read my own post for you since you may well have neglected to yourself.joe the janitor said:.... Sorry? It's just that when you said it looks bad I thought you meant it..... Looks bad graphically. Just hold on a sec, I got to save this in my text editor so every time you say "something looks bad" you mean this. Like whenever I say hello what I meanMelasZepheos said:I didn't say that. Saying something looks like an awful pile of shit doesn't mean i thought the grahpics were bad. It means:joe the janitor said:I'll say it again:MelasZepheos said:Most I heard about this game was watching several Let's Plays of it, and I saw a friend playing it as well, and decided that it looked like an absolutely awful piece of shit. Still waiting for Spoony to finish it, but I think my mind is made up.
Man, I thought you were going to say that they couldn't play Portal in Australia, or Saints Row II, or y'know, something actually good.
Bad graphics = bad game?
I thought the story was nonsensical
The voice acting was so awful I wished someone would change the translation to Japanese because at least the Japanese VAs might put some enthusiasm in
I thought the gameplay looked boring
I thought the settings were linear, overly gloomy and generally either too confused or too bland and simple
I thought the extra shit they threw in, like the suit changing bollocks, felt almost like they were trying to slip Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) by without anyone noticing
I thought the ending was so predictable I actually managed to guess it before the end of the opening cutscene
I thought the characters were unlikable
I thought the attempts at 'horror' were so laughably unscary as to render the game a farce rather than a genuine experience
And yeah, I thought the graphics were only worthy of a PS2, but that doesn't really bother me. I'd play Silent Hill 2 again rather than this, I'd play Final Fantasy VII again over this.
Hell, I think I'd even play Pokemon Blue again rather than this.
I thought this game was bad in almost every way it is possible for a game to be bad, and I resent being told my own opinion. I think bad graphics have almost nothing to do with the overall quality of a game, but in the case of this particular one?
You can't even defend it by saying it looks nice.
"Nucleosynthesis is the process of creating new atomic nuclei from pre-existing nucleons (protons and neutrons). It is thought that the primordial nucleons themselves were formed from the quark-gluon plasma from the Big Bang as it cooled below two trillion degrees. A few minutes afterward, starting with only protons and neutrons, nuclei up to lithium and beryllium (both with mass number 7) were formed, but only in relatively small amounts. Then the fusion process essentially shut down due to drops in temperature and density as the universe continued to expand. This first process of primordial nucleosynthesis may also be called nucleogenesis."![]()
1. I acknowledged that I had not played the game myself, thus all my experiences came from watching other people play it through Let's Plays and one friend who I saw in person play it.
2. Not having direct experience I could not with accurate grammar claim that the game had played badly, since I had not played it.
3. When you watch something, you are looking at it, taking in all the details of it via sight only, thus your entire experience must have been visual and/or audial.
Conclusion: I had not played it, only looked at it, and decided from the looking that it looked bad, and thus I would not play it myself.
Hey look, looks like looking was the entirely correct usage in this context. Look what I did there.
