R.I.P Bill, you will be missed.
He was actually one of my favorites, a funny old guy.
i just hope that when playing the new DLC on L4D1, as Bill, you can go into some sort of Rambo-mode in your last moments, killing a ridiculous number of infected before dying of over-the-top awesomeness.

It was kinda obvious:
1. If they let Louis die, it would have fitted too much in the "the black guy dies" clichee
2. Francis was one of the most loved characters
3. They wouldn't have killed zoey, one of the few women in the cast.
4. Bill was a warhero and the oldest out of them, so it made the most sense.

NOOOOOOOOOOO Bill was my favorite character the grizzled old Vietnam war guy he was awesome noooooo these are sad days.
Most likely, this is not the case. Bill CAN die, certainly. But one screen shot from a game where Bill happened to be the person chose to stay behind doesn't mean anything. Meanwhile, Valve has released movie posters for, "The Passing" that include all 4 original survivors in silhouette, and 4 more posters of 3 silhouetted survivors, with a different original survivor missing each time.

Didn't Valve say it would be possible to choose which one died personally, but there would be on canonic death?
Have they (not the users, Valve themselves) confirmed Bill as the canonic death?

I think that may have been scrapped because they couldn't get a hold of Bill's voice actor.Tairan said:

I think you read it on Destructix, they had an article claiming Jim French robbed a store and was shot by a cop, but I think the article was a joke. From what other information I can gather, he was apparently on vacation during production.Sean Strife said:
