I'm quite fond of the the first two, the second one in particular. Unfortunately I've heard bad things about the 3rd and have such shied away from it. One thing that made me kind of sad was that I never got to play as Spyro when he was an adult.
Well said.astrav1 said:The first three are the only three and they are fantastic.
This is truth. I love the first (sorry, only) 3. I remember I completed the second and third with 100% I only missed a few gems in the first one.dancinginfernal said:I used to love the game, and really it was part of my introduction to gaming.
Hate seeing what he's become.
Yup. Good old PoisonRyuo said:Oh Skittles? <3
Pattern? What is this pattern you speak of? xD
I know they didn't get the best reviews, but I hear the newest one is actually pretty good.busterkeatonrules said:No, no, NO! Dude, DON'T. Just don't. Trust me.kyosai7 said:They were fun platforming games. I have more fond memories of Spyro than I do the original Crash Bandicoot games. Been thinking about grabbing one of the newer Spyro games...
Insomniac sold the franchise to Universal after the third game, so any later ones were produced by lazy incompetents whose only priority was to make a quick buck. The resulting games are so INCREDIBLY bad that some who have played them, altogether refuse to acknowledge their existence.
Personally, I say they have NO legitimate connection WHATSOEVER to the purple dragon we all know and love.
Of the three, yes, Dawn of the Dragon is the best. Scenery porn to the max, wonderful music, AND UNLIMITED FLIGHT.kyosai7 said:I know they didn't get the best reviews, but I hear the newest one is actually pretty good.busterkeatonrules said:No, no, NO! I tried the first game in the new series ("Legend of Spyro: A new beginning"), and while it IS a signifigant improvement over Universal's previous efforts, I still say it falls through.kyosai7 said:I know they didn't get the best reviews, but I hear the newest one is actually pretty good.busterkeatonrules said:No, no, NO!
