no, they just released the game on the PSN as a PS1 classic. The PSP got Crisis Core, the prequel to it. I'd love to see FF7 remade for the PSP with Crisis Cores/Dissidia's graphics as those feel more suited than flashy advent children type graphics. I don't think the game should be remade for consoles...it just doesn't feel right.Standby said:
This announcement is most likely Kingdom Hearts 3, it's probably the most sought after game by fans next to FF7, and I doubt we will see a remake any time soon.

It better be KH3. Because if people are actually asking that idiot to be the one to remake FF7, there is no good in the world. Nomura is the worst thing to happen to SE other than the merger. Giving that idiot power was a horrible idea, and no good has come of it. KH1 was great because he didn't have creative control over it. He did over 2, and it suffered immensely for it. Nomura has always needed someone over him to keep him in check and say "no, this is bad, do it again." or "this design is terrible, make another."

I think a kingdom hearts 3 trailer would be the most impressive. Considering as previously stated all the work squares been putting in the last year it's incredible with final fantasy xiii on the way and versus and 14 in the not too distant future. Not to mention kingdom hearts 358/2 days only coming out in europe september if memory serves, and birth by sleep arriving in japan the 1st of January to bring yet another kingdom hearts game, the big one, on ps3 would be epic! Especially when you consider he made us wait three years between 1 and 2! Tetsuya Nomura may actually have been replaced by superman.

Chrono Trigger had two sequels. Only chrono cross was released in the states. Really, it didn't feel like a sequel at all though, so if they want to make a true chrono trigger 2, that would be fine with me.
Maybe we are gonna see front mission 5 in the states? That might be a cool option.
If square picked up xenogears again it would be cool (although with the xenosaga games, I don't see that as a likelyhood)
New tactics game? One that is not handheld and not with sucky kids, clans and judges? I could go with a true FF tactics 2.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is very likely. Considering that 2 came out like five years ago, it's high time for three.
They should totally make a final fantasy mystic quest 2, just to screw with us.
If they re-release a new version of ff6 it will prolly be handheld and upgraded like the lastest version of ff4. If I didn't despise handheld systems, I would probably get the new ff4. FF7 has been teased on new hardware for years. It may come out, and if it does I would buy it.

I also don't understand the hate towards and FFVII remake. Just don't play it, and be happy for the people that wanted to see it happen if it does indeed get made. If you're not going to play it anyways, why care? I've never played Halo, I don't go around saying how much I wish they wouldn't make any more sequels, because it does not affect me.

It's difficult to say what it is. It could be Kingdom Hearts 3, but that means another team is working on it because the original team is doing a lot of work for versus 13. It could be a remake to ff 7, but the company has been shooting the idea down for awhile. Another possibility is more in the Parasite Eve department.
