Best Possibilities: Parasite Eve, a new Chrono game, FFIV or FFVI remake
Most Likely Possibilities: FFVII remake, new KH game
Worst Possibilities: FFVII remake

FFVII just isn't the godly game so many people have made it out to be and while a lot of it's lost charm is simply due to it aging terribly (unlike the earlier FF games), it doesn't really need to be remade. I can easily see it being the most demanded and personally asked about title though.

A remake, changing nothing but the graphics, would be fantastic. Unfortunately, you just know they would change other things, like trying to retcon the expanded universe into the main story, or making Vincent and Yuffie obligatory, or using a different battle system.

All it needs is a graphical upgrade, nothing more, please.

Oh, and less Aeris (ducks head and raises flame shields.)

So many potentially awesome things. Maybe they'll remake Vagrant Story and I'll finally be able to play it. Maybe we'll finally get Kingdom Hearts 3. Maybe we'll get a completely reimagined remake of Chrono Trigger.

A new Chrono Trigger?

The only things I can really think it will be is a remake of a Final Fantasy game or a direct sequel to one of them, or KH3.

For those hoping it will be a Parasite Eve game, you should look up the PSP game to be released called "3rd birthday" as it is a sequel so I highly doubt they are going to make another, although as a big fan of the series I won't complain if they give me another game.

If it is going to come to a wish list though, what i really want to see is Vagrant Story 2, I loved that game and still play it now.

...Hasn't Kingdom Hearts 3 been teased dozens of ways by now? The bit after you beat 2 in the credits Cut Scenes with those 3 Knights fighting in a barren field littered with different Keyblades. The Only way it would make sense for it to be about KH3 is if at some point an annoucement about KH3 being Delayed/Postsponed/Canceled unless its a new bridging spin-off like Chain of Memories or something.

Though if it's about the FF #ed series I'd be fine with either a 6/7 remake/sequal or a new FF Tactics from the origanal one.

Edit: Oh rihgt I remember them shutting down a fan-made project to produce a FREEunoffical sequal to Chorno Trigger a year or two back near it's planned completion but never mentioned why, just maybe it was to allow the possibility of offical sequal to be produced that wasn't completely green lit yet?
