Stealth, more precise. Unless i can pack some breaching/shaped charges, in which case, both.

Edit: Precise, to be more precise, refering to exacting strike with minimal collateral.

While stealth is the most satisfying to pull off without getting killed, 'splosions are more fun (and I'm more skilled at 'splosions than stealth).

'splosions it is for me.

Stealth. It's just how I roll. (It doesn't even matter if I try to play a game a different way, I always end up having a stealth-based character.)

stealth. i'd love to imagine the looks on their faces when they realize what happened much too late to do anything about it

It depends entirely on the context. Some problems require a hammer. Others need a more delicate approach.

That said, the general case indicates the explosion is the way to go. Not all problems can be solved through subtlety and guile but any problem can be resolved by proper application of high explosives.

Explosions because it requires more strategy and thought.

Stealth is just, "wait until guard #2 turns around, choke out guard #1, sneak up on guard #2 and wait for guard #3 to turn around, choke out guard #2, etc."

The hard part in Starcraft isn't researching stealth and avoiding missile turrets, it's deciding on the perfect timing and placement of your tactical nuclear warhead.

I'm pretty sure stealthing that probe into the back corner of their base/nearby and dropping a proxy pylon to make use of my 4gate is a lot more fun than nukes ;)

Generally speaking stealth. In real life its more efficient and less dangerous, in games its more challenging.
