At this point I've bought Alan Wake Franchise and The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb DLC. Traded TF2 items for a copy of LA Noire Complete. Also I was gifted a copy of Bastion by a friend on Steam. Before it is all over I know I'm going to get a few more things, but its such a pain in the ass trying to trade for them while they are on sale since everyone wants to hold the items so they can make a bigger profit when they go off sale. Next purchase will probably be a copy of Stacking before the Flash Sale ends.

My wish this Steam Summer Sale is that more people would buy Ben There, Dan That and Time Gentlemen Please. It's 2 great point and click style adventure games for 1 dollar. I plead that with the next purchase you make that you tack that on there.

- Tropico 4 Bundle: ?15,47
- Binding of Isaac Bundle: ?2,23
- Dear Esther: ?1,99
- The Walking Dead: ?14,99
- Spec Ops: The Line: ?33,49

Gifted:
- Trine 2: ?3,24
- Left 4 Dead 2: ?4,99
- Magicka: ?2,49
- Magicka + Magicka Vietnam: ?3,73
- Metro 2033: ?2,49

It would've been okay, but Yathzee just had to give Spec Ops a recommendation for it's effective story.

I'm seeing lots of Binding of Isaac purchases, but not nearly enough. Sessly folks, the only reason not to pick it up is if you know that you really dislike rogue-like games. If you like roguelikes, you have to get TBoI. If you don't know what a roguelike is, then you can discover a whole new style of gaming for under 2.50 and that's a really sweet deal.

I'm thoroughly tempted by Metro 2033. But I'm trying to resist the temptation. Although I really don't know why, considering it costs 2.50... Anyone want to make up my mind for me? :D
Yeah I don't know whether I should call The Binding of Isaac a roguelike. Yeah it has randomized dungeons and perma-death, but it's gameplay is more like a shoot 'em up and it lacks RPG elements.

As for Metro 2033. Get it. It's one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played despite that atmosphere being pretty bleak.

I've bought a lot, some of was planned, a bunch was "Holy crap, x for y? How could I not buy that?" so I have games now that I might never even install.
Legend of Grimrock - Awesome
Terraria x2 gifts
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Half Life 2 complete
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Skyrim - Only purchase over 10 Euros thus far, couldn't resist it at 25.
Bastion
Cave Story+
Frozen Synapse
Dead Space 2
Dead Rising 2 Frank West edition
Wings of Prey
X3:Terran Conflict
Company of Heroes pack - was on the fence over the drm for this, while it was half off, when it dropped to 75% it didn't take me long at all.

Not sure what a roguelike is but every time I get interested I watch game-play footage and giggle because it reminds me of nothing so much as JUST the caves in Legend of Zelda, ad infinitum.

Savings gather, and now my spree begins. It shall not end until I'm broke. I shall eat no food, buy no gas and do no work. I shall call in sick and keep refreshing the Steam frontpage. I shall live and die before my screen. I am the keeper of the wishlist. I am the buyer on the net. I am the cash that flows through the web, the community that clamors for sales, the bane of my credit card provider, the downloader that brings Steam on its knees. I pledge my life and wallet to Valve, for this sale and all the sales to come.

tl;dr: lots.

Or, download the steam app for your smartphone. If you don't have a smartphone, well, buy one? ^_^

Got Metro 2033 for $4.99 and Dear Esther $2.49. Esther only took me about 1 hour to finish, but at that price, well worth playing. I can't believe someone got LA Noir for $5. That isn't what it was when I last looked!

So far, Metro is really special looking.

Question: If I lose my internet connection, does that mean I cannot play Steam games even solo?

Good to know, thanks! So far, other than using up my bandwidth to download games, I can't think of a complaint about Steam. Another plus on Metro: my xbox controller works with it.

Dragon Age Origins Ultimate edition - £9.99
TES V: Skyrim - £17.37
Assassin's Creed Pack(AC1/AC2/AC Brotherhood/AC Revelations/2 AC Revelations DLC) - £19.99

So a total of £47. 35

Though the real kicker is that I already own all those games on Xbox...

Though I bought DA:O and Skyrim so I could finally have game mods. I have no excuse for buying the AC Pack other than; I did it because I could!.

I'm usually not much of a FPS kinda guy, but I enjoyed Painkiller and Bulletstorm, and have some fond memories of the free multiplayer demo of UT2004, would I enjoy Unreal Tournament 3, since it's on flash sale?

Not much. I have so many games on Steam that I haven't even started. That's everyone's story though. It's mostly stuff from Humble Bundles or things I have played before but got a copy of 'cause why not.
Like Mirror's Edge! which I bought though I was like, one chapter from the end?

So:
Mirror's Edge.
Tribes: Ascend starter pack, which I'm not entirely sure why I picked up.
And Rayman Origins which I've packed about 4 and a half hours into already because I love me some nostalgic platforming action, which is why I probably have about 40 hours somehow packed into Sonic Generations. Don't ask. Crisis City Act 2 is a lot of fun I guess.

I'm tempted on actually buying Sim City 4 since I put a lot of time into that but don't.. ahem.. actually own it. I can get lost into that game for hours and not even realize it. I highly doubt it'll get marked down to 75% off so $10 saved would still be nice.

So far I haven't bought anything from Steam during the Summer Sale. I either already own the games on sale or have no interest in them.
