I bought Hearts of Iron III complete, and nothing else. I bought an iron heart so I could resist the temptation.
And I just found this out: Go into Steam -> File -> Backup Games -> Select the games you want to backup and the location (External HDD). As long as I just one account around the house, I can copy my games from place to place and play them where I want.Gorfias said:Good to know, thanks! So far, other than using up my bandwidth to download games, I can't think of a complaint about Steam. Another plus on Metro: my xbox controller works with it.kyosai7 said:There is an Offline Mode for SteamGorfias said:Got Metro 2033 for $4.99 and Dear Esther $2.49. Esther only took me about 1 hour to finish, but at that price, well worth playing. I can't believe someone got LA Noir for $5. That isn't what it was when I last looked!
So far, Metro is really special looking.
Question: If I lose my internet connection, does that mean I cannot play Steam games even solo?
My reaction when I actually saw the game up for vote and win and then proceeded to buy it?Nostalgia said:I'm tempted on actually buying Sim City 4 since I put a lot of time into that but don't.. ahem.. actually own it. I can get lost into that game for hours and not even realize it. I highly doubt it'll get marked down to 75% off so $10 saved would still be nice.
Ha! I bought it recently before the sales. Imma gonna wait until next year's, when I will have time to play all of them.Odgical said:Hah! No games emptied MY wallet! I never had any money to begin with!
Hahaha!
Ha... ha...
*sob*
Wanted to buy Crusader Kings II, though. Been put off by most FPS/RPGs lately.
Witcher 2 maybe, but the original's combat's just so bleh, which won't do when it's the majority of the game.NotALiberal said:Oh for the love of everything that is holy, The Witcher series is on sale now! With the TW1 being $2.50 and TW2 being $20! BUY THEM! I know I sound like a corporate shill, but by far THE best RPGS I have ever played. Screw DA:O, it pales in comparison to the Witcher.
I felt the same, but just turn it down to easy and experience the amazing story and characters the game has to offer. It really is the only RPG I've ever played where choices had consequences attached to them without being "good" or "bad" ALA every Bioware game ever.kyosai7 said:Witcher 2 maybe, but the original's combat's just so bleh, which won't do when it's the majority of the game.NotALiberal said:Oh for the love of everything that is holy, The Witcher series is on sale now! So, to tally up all I've bought:
Serious Sam 3 BFE
Nexuiz
Hard Reset
Binary Domain + DLC
Ys: The Oath of Felghana
Mount & Blade: Warband
Money allocated to sale: $50
Money remaining: $8.76
