I sense an epic comic-con style counter protest, but on a larger scale and more "fuck you westboro" oriented.
AL-FUCKING-READY!?!?

Damn let the guy R.I.PC for awhile before starting the protest you fake christians
I mean, really. I try to be as tolerant as I can be, but the WBBC is the one group of people who I have literally no respect for. They are a stain upon humanity and a blight on our existence. Fuck them hard. In the ass. With a chainsaw. With a giant chainsaw. With a giant radioactive chainsaw. With a giant radioactive chainsaw covered in spiders.

Sorry, I had to get that off my chest.

A human being died.

That is always tragic.
Not REALLY, is it?

Jobs aside, surely we can agree that some deaths are either necessary or funny as hell?
Now you're speaking my language! I can agree that not all deaths are tragic.
Some would say that Hitler's death was Heilarious
I'd say it was siegnificantly more funny than that!
A LOLocaust if you will
And you can bet that Eva did nazi that coming...
Hahahahaha Oh sir you are Reichdiculous!!
I'm glad that God doesn't exist, because if he did, we'd both be going to heil.
Hahahaha no doubt. While I do believe in a God, I can honestly say he is FUHRERious with me XD
Hmm...I have to say, all these puns are still well within Mein Kampfort zone.

Anne Frankly, I think we still have a way to go before we're Goering to run out.
We Schultz have some more puns in about Nein minutes
I think we can run a Master race today, if we can keep our Concentration up.
Oh trust me if you want some serious concentration I suggest to start your day with some Orange Jews
Nah, Orange Jews as a breakfast is definitely the inferior of Aryan Rice.
Some say they may even Hindenburg your progress
I think I may have the Final solution to that, actually. I just need to have some Concentration, and repeat it all till I feel like I've done it at least 6 million times...
You better not Stalin otherwise you'll be outdone by Russia
Ok, enough of this, I'm burnt out.
Feel like I've been in an oven all day.

Also, it's 7:17 here, I should be Goering to sleep.

Actually, yes. That's exactly what that means. Especially if you achieve said primacy by stealing the idea and patenting it before the real creators can.
I don't deny Jobs was one of the most important people in the history of technology, but then so was Pope Gregory IX(look it up). Just because you're "important", doesn't make you necessary... or helpful.
It is amazing, even now to see how much hate is being sent his way, and it is just as untrue as ever. That you would say that he isn't helpful is just plain ignorant. He has had a tremendous positive influence on technology, and the world, while he worked at Apple.

Yeah, many other people passed away too. Just because he is famous doesn't mean I should care for him more than anyone else.
Go without your PC, your MP3 Player, Your tablet (if you had one) and remove all those from your life. That is what would have happened in Steve Jobs didn't exist.

Okay, I am being a little over-dramatic however he was a revolutionary. Most of the things were thought of by him. They were perfected again and again by him. Others could have done it, however who knows. It could have taken years longer.
You do realize apple didn't do ANY of those first. Just slapped a shiny logo on it and called it "magical".

OT: I personally don't really care. He's like everyone else but he's rich and has fanboys. He's like the 108 other people that died while I was typing this. But he owns a mansion so I guess he's better right?
Because being the first person to distribute a computer with a graphical interface = he just slapped a logo on it and called it a day, right? As much as you want to deny it, he is one of the most important people in the history of technology, and he will be remembered as such for a long, long time.
Guess who hired him? It was steve who invested in the idea of a GUI, we can credit Jeff for leading the macintosh project, and for making the decision for a one button mouse, which only now when we have gesture mouses makes sense.
Google Jef Raskin he had way more to do with that than Steve.
....Why did you edit my post?
I have no idea. Someone is failing today.

Too tired to rip your argument to shreds right now. See a few pages above for apt Hitler comparison.

And with that double Godwin, I bid thee all adieu.

No,not really.
Yeah, Kinda really. After all humor is subjective amirite? So by that logic somewhere someone will find death funny.
In short.
DON'T APPLY YOUR LOGIC TO EVERYONE ELSES
"DON'T APPLY YOUR LOGIC TO EVERYONE ELSES"

Exactly.

Hypocritical of me to say yes, but it proved my point. Not everyone shares remorse in the same fashion as you and therefore some people find death funny.
Not an opinion. Its a fact, because I find some of those jokes about death hilarious and nothing anyone says will change me
It appears that my attempt at humor did not connect with you.

"No,not really"

But as you just said, humor is subjectiv, and everyone thinks about it differently.
Wait....SHIT!!! Now I feel stupid knowing now it was an attempt at humor DX

Sorry dude
Don't be.

I will definitely NOT quit my dayjob!

I hate Apple with a passion, and everything they stand for. Not like MS is much better, but that is beside the point. Regardless of what apple has become today, he was a smart man who had the drive to attempt to create an innovative and new product in the personal computing world. No one deserves to die in the manner he did.

P.S. All the damn Facebook statuses about this do annoy me, though. I counted at least 5 before the news had been out an hour.

It is really sad to hear since he donated laptops to my entire high school for everyone to have a personal laptops to use for schooling. Speaking of which, I am using said laptop. May he rest in peace. And about the WBC, may they find their vehicles ruined, slash through, and wrecked beyond repair and somebody there to laugh openly in their face.

Five? Consider yourself lucky. Mine was at 12 within 15 minutes. Last I checked (which was hours ago) it was somewhere in the upper 20s.

It's better he's dead really.

The cancer that he was suffering from is incredibly painful and horrible.

Yes, yes it is.
You know, how about just showing some respect? I'm not a huge fan of Apple. In fact, I detest Apple and their processes for manufacture but saying that his death won't affect someone is a horrible thing to say. Especially since he's only been dead for a few hours.

Yes, many people have died, but his death is no less important than theirs. Stop being such a hipster. FSS.

Oh, Steve Jobs is dead. This doesn't affect me in any way seeing I never knew him, never met him, never cared for any of the the products produced by his company. People die every hour. Steve Jobs isn't special, just more famous than most of them.

As so many other I'm a PC user and I can (proudly) say I never actually used an apple product but still if it wasn't for Steve Jobs we probably wouldn't have a lot of the things we got today. Hoping someone steps in his shoes as an equally or better person to the world. RIP Steve Jobs.
