"When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: 'If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.' It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something."
I personally don't know what to say. I can't say I was much of an Apple connoisseur, nor did I think a lot about him, so to hear that Jobs died is... kinda shocking to me. I knew for quite some time that he was suffering from a type of disease, but to hear that he died so early.
I'm just speechless. I can only give my condolences to his friends and family, and my humblest respect to the man that had done so much.
RIP: Steve Jobs.
See you starside.
... Also, seriously? The Westboro Baptist Church said WHAT? I've hated those fucking assholes for quite some time, but this seems like a new level of...
I don't know. There is a circle of hell reserved for these guys; you DO NOT say that kind of stuff about a guy as revolutionary as this man, even if you never really cared for him, and ESPECIALLY NOT WHEN HE JUST DIED.
