Kind of a kick the dog moment really. I get wanting to destroy what was considered the homeworld of the Rebel Alliance, and less than 2 billion people is a small price with a galaxy wide Empire at stake. Wiping out a few million in retaliation though? Hunky Dory.Imthatguy said:The billions that died on Alderaan beg to differ. Omnicidal madness was the modus operandi for the Empire.
I get that narratives require conflict and/or antagonism, but if killing a few more people is the only thing that seperates the good guys and the bad guys; we have to seriously re-examine the body counts in some of these stories and who's suppose to be good and/or bad.
