Weirdest thing I've eaten was sliced jellyfish. Was a weird dish, but the sauce was nice. It had a bit of sting to it, not painful, but kind of numbing and hot at the same time. The texture was the most difficult part of it, almost mucus but I'd probably eat it again should the opportunity arise.

Paper. I've eaten quite a few types so perhaps a good name for me would be "Paper Connoisseur", all under dares of course. What? You think I'd CHOOSE to eat paper? It tastes like crap and it's nearly impossible swallow. Some just taste less crap than others.
What brand, type, and thickness would you recommend? Also, do you have a favorite condiment to go with it?
If I have to...
I always thought lined paper was the best, 8mm.
The part you eat should be a third of A4 size horizontally, late on. Multi-grain paper is also good (recycled).
And mildly thick, not too thin. Thick ones are good too.
Or you COULD just not eat paper. That would help!

I'm boring so I'll just say kangaroo steak (it was AWESOME).

I've also eaten a raw steak but I guess that is more a weird cooking method (ie; none) than a weird food.

You be the judge!

I've eaten duck heart, fried scorpion, and silkworm.

I've also had deep fried ice cream. It tasted nothing like regular ice cream.

Moose. It tasted like... Canada.

Actually it just tasted like super lean beef, which is my favorite kind.

Also gator, and eel.

As for stuff I've drunk... kahlua, milk, rum, coke and whipped cream, with one of those straws that flavors milk to taste like chocolate as you drink it. It was about as good as it sounds.

When I was younger, I used to put butter on a slice of bread, then ketchup, next I would roll it up and eat it.

Apparantly my grandfather did the same thing according to my mother.
I used to do that, tasty...

OT: Only snails really. The funny thing is they don't actually taste like anything, I'm pretty sure it's just a big French joke.

Goat's testicals and fried scorpion. Hey, when in China... (and Dog, suprisingly delicious!)
Isn't dog meat still illegal in China?

OT: I haven't really had the chance to eat anything unusual yet, but I'm up for anything.
Was this recent? I was there in 2006 and it seemed perfectly legal, that is in a normal restaurant on a main street
After some research, I found that it's only illegal in Hong Kong and has been since 1950. So I hope you enjoyed your dog meat.

You monster.

Mmmmmm, tasty fried meat of my most hated enemy (dog) with some chinese spices, like satay, who would ask for more?

Welcome to China! Tis' a wonderful land as long as you don't fuck with the government. Haven't eaten dog but I have eaten chicken hearts, assortments of testicles, cicada, cricket (cooked and uncooked), scorpion and pig intestines. All of them except cicada and some of the testicles were fairly enjoyable at the least.
