That actually can't happen.

Funny little legal technicality left over from the settling, if Texas left US control, the rest of America would revert to being a number of European colonies, if I remember rightly.

I'm fed up with not having enough money to do fun stuff, I need more hours at work, badly, I get like a week off, when I'm trying to make money to afford rent, how the fuck am I ever going to afford to buy another computer? I mean if I had a couple more days a week I'd have my phone bill payed, and half of a pc build next payday, and be gaming again in december, but that's never how it works is it?
No, I hafta wait until someone loses their job, or goes on vacation, or gets sick, and due to liking the people I work with, I don't want them to get sick or get fired, so please, christmastime come fast, so I can get a week or two with 4 days or more of work, cuz as it is, I'm only getting 1-2, maybe 3 if I'm incredibly lucky every week, at minimum wage... it doesn't pay for much.

However, that's not that bad, as I was nearly homeless due to being unemployed for 4 months, I'm damn lucky to have a job, but still, if it was a fulltime job, or even decently houred part time, I'd be able to live, not sit for 6 days with nothing to do but read shit on the escapist forum untill my eyes bleed, and wait for more work in between shifts.

You're just lazy and picky. There are plenty of jobs out there, you just need to lower your standards.

Yeah, that attitude is what I'm fed up with. I've had my resumé done by professionals, written close to 40 applications in 2 weeks to different companies looking for people and 2 job interviews and no job came out of hours of work. Now that is reason on its own to get pissed, but when people on the internet who doesn't know me claim that the reason I can't get a job is because I'm lazy then I get really pissed.
I totally agree.

In fact, if anyone's picky it's the employers. Since I've applied for positions, and been turned down, only to find the exact same position re-advertised again a short time later.
So whoever that employer is, they obviously just didn't like the selection of applicants, and decided to turn down everyone and re-advertise the position again (or that's my theory anyway).
You kind of have to see it from their point of view though. Businesses everywhere are going bust and it's getting more difficult to turn a profit in most sectors. Due to the difficult climate, employers have to go with applicants that are more likely to help their business succeed.

It's a risk to take on an employee with no experience because it takes extra time and money to train them in. A blank CV/resume also raises the question of why no one has employed you, especially as people get older. It's an unfortunate situation but employers aren't re-advertising because they didn't like the font on the applications they did get.

Take retail for example. If you hire someone with no experience, they have to start from scratch. If you hire someone with experience, you only have to show them the specifics of your company and they already know the rest. It's less hassle and the employee is likely to start making the company more money sooner.

I'm feed up with the fact I am in a generation overlooked by history.
Here I sit, in safe, secure Denmark, while history is write new chapters at breakneck speed all around me, and what am I doing?
Nothing! That's what, bugger all, zero, nada, nil! There is nothing here. I feel cheated by history, my granddad often told me about how he was in the resistance against the Germans, and my farther keeps going on about how he was part of all kinds of movements in his youth. and I to want some kind of story to tell to my kids other then "and then I look at some funny cat pictures"
So here I sit, to smart to leave this safe but boring place, but to dumb to realize that it is properly one of the best places in these troubled times. >: /

I'm fed up of that "I have no games" feeling. Y'know what I mean. It's been a hard day, and you feel like playing a game. But what? There's a specific feeling you're looking for, and none of the games you have satisfy it. You sit there for ages, on xbox live or simply in your room, waiting for the urge to play a game to turn into an urge to play a specific game. It's really annoying when I feel like playing, say, a pirate action game, with swordplay, free roaming, and cool ship battles. That game doesn't exist, though, not on any console I have, and probably not for a long time.
This so much! Except I don't even know what type of game I want. I just know it's not the ones I have. It's so aggravating. I have a steam account with almost 50 games, plus probably another 50 boxed games. Yet not one of them interests me. First world problems.

I'm a very bitter (and Odd, har har see what I did there) person, so I'm still fed up with the quality of modern pop music and the fact that it's so goddamn popular.

I'm also still fed up with Mass Effect 3. (Ending, Tali's face, Jessica Chobot etc.)

What else, oh yeah, I'm also fed up with the fact that nearly no one where I live seems to like the things I like, and the very few that do are all male.

I'm fed up with people in general, for being such all around unpleasant idiots.

I'm fed up with my own body for being in such bad shape and not growing a beard.

I'm kind of fed up with myself for not actually being bisexual, since I don't really find men sexually attractive. I probably wouldn't mind kissing a member of my own gender, but anything more than that I just don't find very desirable.

I'm fed up with people on Halo 4 for being such amoral and honourless bastards.
Seriously, why can't you just let me have my assassination I worked so hard for to get?

TL;DR: I'm fed up with pretty much everything.

Well, with that attitude, I wouldn't want you working for me either!

Have you ever played Sid Meier's Pirates? It's not exactly what you described, but it's a backwards-compatible XBox 1 release, and it's pretty fun.

I'm fed up with Facebook. I don't have an account, and yet I still can't avoid it. Nearly every site I try to make an account for, and nearly every IOS game I buy badgers me to log in to Facebook every time I go there/play it. I see why some people like Facebook, but I wish it wasn't so damn pervasive.

I hate that I'm not at all the person I thought I was going to be at this point. If 16 year old me comes to the present in a time machine, he's gonna have some really harsh words for me : (

In media: Animes with lots of female protagonists. Because every time I see some kind of anime like it, I can already tell that the characters look so generic. The only exception to this rule is Touhou, and while I do enjoy the characters' antics, most of the fun I have is playing the game. It just seems nowadays anime studios like to shove in lots of female protagonists doing cute things. And while it's good to have some sugar sometimes, eating a pile of sugar does not sound appetizing. Cute anime girls have become so common, it tastes stale and unhealthy after a while. I mean, I like hot girls as much as the next straight guy, but c'mon!

In reality: People talking on their cellphones or texting while in a group of friends doing a 'social' event. C'mon people, you go to the coffee shop with your friends to hang out! Not to chat on that plastic encased module of semiconductors and an AC source. I'm so glad our graduate student group has a game night where we play card games and board games every Friday night.

In the internet: Facebook game apps. Facebook is only an extension of our communicative ability. I don't give a crap about game requests, and nor do I ever want to. They're a waste of energy, time, and money (if you're really that low into buying game stuff over Facebook). All you're doing in those games is mostly clicking that god damn mouse button to tell your bear person to chop a tree.

That is to say, I don't hate these things, I'm just tired of seeing them. It takes a lot for me to really hate something. A LOT.

The Marketplace on Facebook I liked because I was able to find my last 3 residences through there.

The one thing I don't hate at all, and I hope I never will: Humanity. I don't like to be an extreme pessimist or optimist. There's no sight in either of those viewpoints because they only see one half. I'm a patient person with humanity. It's done some pretty atrocious things (including some of the stuff I've mentioned as well as many terrible war crimes and environmental devastation), but if we were truly evil then humanity's game would have ended a long time ago. In addition to that, we're young creatures in comparison to the age of the Earth. There are so many factors in humanity, that I never decide on what might happen next. If you disagree with me, I don't care.

Attempts by nations across the world to neuter, censor, and control the internet. It never fucking ends!

I will now love you forever for quoting Tommy Wiseau. Yes.

I'm sick of the direction in which the gaming market is headed. We're nickel-and-dimed for asinine DLC and gated with excessive anti-piracy measures that don't do squat, and that inability to secure products drives publishers to privilege only the safest of all safe bets. That's sequels. More and more and more and more and MORE SEQUELS. I'm sick of innovation being the sole province of talented independents, because I remember a time when LucasArts and EA didn't suck.

I'm sick of the mainstream market treating me and those in my demographic like we're freaks of nature who failed to adapt to today's reigning dudebro market share. No, Microsoft, goddamnit, I will NOT play Halo 4! STAHP EET!
