Funny, I saw the title and what I thought of immediately was cynicism. I'm just getting tired of people who absolutely refuse to be have any optimism at all. It makes it hard to talk to them and soon I start ignoring them.

Well, I got ninja'd.

Yeah, I'm tired of all the complaining. I complain a fair amount, and pretty often about rather petty things, but it all pales in comparison to the negativity I see coming from practically everywhere on the internet.

Fed up with anyone who claims a "war on Christmas" is under way.

OT: I'm fed up with the underlying requirements for high office. The president shouldn't be defended with "being a good, Christian family man" because that shouldn't matter. What the hell happened to my separation of church and state? I shouldn't be told to keep dreaming when I remarked that a latino man could be the next president. It bothers me that the standard hasn't changed in 200 years.

Um, I'm well, fed up with that, and the state of the republican party. Because the face of their party keeps doing really stupid shit and saying really stupid shit and cries foul when people didn't elect them to the highest office. I'm tired of having constant facepalm moments whenever certain people just open their mouths.

I want to stupid parade to end. I want the politicians to put their more rational brethren upfront. The ones that listened and didn't try to win with just a huge stick and a cowboy attitude.

I want some rationality back in my government and it bothers highly me that it won't happen. Fucking politics. Why did I pick you as my minor?!

And if someone tells me nothing I voted for will ever matter again, I will punch them in the teeth.

Speaking as an Atheist, I try not to look for theists to troll, because I know enough that my point of view isn't going to change theirs and if anything have the reverse effect. So I don't look for them, I only get pissed when pastors and bible-thumpers say that hurricane Sandy was caused by gays and butt-hurt Hindu's getting pissy about one of their imaginary friends being in a game.


OT: People in the Northern Hemisphere (UK America, etc) complaining about the price of games and the state of said industries up there. As an Aussie I say; Boo-Fricky-Hoo... mate.

Add in something like a commentary on the difficulties of starting a homosexual relationship in a hetero-normative society, or do some dramatic bullshit of having one of the girls unsure of her sexuality and going off from there. Hell, just do a lesbian relationship 'just cause' but don't show any fanservicy bullshit - just have 'em in there as a couple characters who are in a relationship, no big song or dance about it!

IMs. I like getting IMs, I love talking to my friends. But seriously, every single time I boot up Skyrim, I get a new one. And since Skyrim crashes if I tab out, that means I quit and go check my IMs. I chat for a bit, and things get quiet. After about five-ten minutes of no one talking, I boot up Skyrim again. And instantly get three IMs...

Haha I get that on steam. No one will talk to me all day while I'm online and then, as soon as I decide to load up a game, placing an "away" or "busy" flag up I get swarmed with texts. Then my friends wonder why I'm offline or invisible on chat services.

Yeah, that attitude is what I'm fed up with. I've had my resumé done by professionals, written close to 40 applications in 2 weeks to different companies looking for people and 2 job interviews and no job came out of hours of work. Now that is reason on its own to get pissed, but when people on the internet who doesn't know me claim that the reason I can't get a job is because I'm lazy then I get really pissed. The job market sucks and it's hard to get a job unless you have experience and you can't get experience if you can't get a job.

I wish you the best of luck getting a job, personally I gave up for the time and decided to live on my student loan rather than getting a part time job.

I understand that at the moment my money is paying for the current elderly, but what of me when I'm all old? What have they done to solve this coming shitstorm?

I'm fed up with the term YOLO. YOLO is meant to be used to encourage you to do some outlandish or courageous, or just different that you'd normally never do because of your own personal character, it's not meant to be used to be a moron.

Ah....I know that feeling. When I first came out of college was right when the recession hit. Applied to literally hundreds of jobs. It got to be that I was going to need to take a SECOND job just to AFFORD to go to job interviews across the country.

I'm sick of having to pay ludicrous premiums on everything just because I live in Australia. Surely the cost of shipping something out here isn't enough to justify doubling the price of items? And! This paying of extra extends to digital goods, which cost a big bucket of fuck-all to ship worldwide. And don't you dare wheel out the "but your wages are higher" argument. Just because I earn more doesn't mean I should be charged more. Last time I checked Richard Branson wasn't being charged $5,000 for a loaf of bread just because he earns lots of money.

Games with tiny locked field-of-view settings. Every time I play a game like that I honestly can't help but notice it all the time. A lot of games have them locked at about 65 degrees (e.g. Borderlands), which probably suited older, smaller monitors but it's completely ridiculous and archaic on larger HD monitors (where 80-100 makes more sense). It's like navigating your house with a telescope superglued to your face. What REALLY bugs me about it is how easily it can be fixed: I was so glad Dishonored had a slider for it in the options menu. You can't even claim that it's too hard to implement: frustrum/FOV is a built-in part of graphics middleware, and engines like Unreal have it built in as a console command. Given that most PC games have about 13 different graphics-related sliders it's ridiculous how few of them include one for FOV, considering all the different monitors people use: what looks right for one person can look unrealistically flat and zoomed-in for someone else.

Then that's Mass Effect with double the tits. Granted if you play it like Mass Effect did (Biological explanation, relationships shown as just relationships, fanservicy behaviour relegated to individuals and fanboy wet-dreams), then there's no issue.
