Stupidest thing to ever be banned?

I wonder no one has brought this up yet, but as it personally affects me:
Basically every violent videogame and movie here in Germany. (Or cutting games and movies)
Ok, in some cases it might be reasonable, but in most cases it's just ridiculous.
And to make it even worse, it often seems arbitrary. For example: Half-Life 2.
First release (and Episode One) were released uncut. (Means: Enemies actually bleed if you shoot them and corpses won't vanish as the touch the floor.)
Then Episode Two got released, was cut (Why? No one knows...) and suddenly you could only buy censored versions of HL2 and Epi One.
Well, good thing Austria is our neighbor and they're not banning every drop of blood

Wow I was going to mention paintball guns in Germany, but They've been outdone. By small tits. Seriously Australia? you banned flat chest? tiny tata's? mini boobs, fun sized fun bags, mosquito bites, [I'll let everyone else fill in the small boobs euphemisms themselves I wonder how many the escapist can think of] all because they supposedly make a woman look like a little kid? that's just retarded.
Why the hell is there a wikipedia for anime bath scenes?? That's just.... creepy doesn't seem strong enough. I mean almost every anime bath scene feels voyeuristic to begin with, and now some one made a wikipedia on the subject? Oh the dirt won't come off. In the back of my mind I know that there is a wikia dedicated to stalking somewhere, and now I want to scrub myself with steel wool because of it.Mudze said:

In a few weeks, smoking in bars will be banned in Belgium (you can still make a tiny, tiny part of your bar a smoking zone, but anyway), the thing is, they also put a ban on hookahs, you know, waterpipes. I'm a non-smoker myself, even better, I have asthma but this is just ridiculous. They banned smoking in bars for a few reasons including: It's bad for your health and it's bothersome for the non-smokers in said bars. But hookahs aren't bad for your health, and since they are only used in special bars exclusively for the purpose of being able to smoke one, it's no bother to other people. I just don't get it.

You can't meaningfully tell a person's age in the range of 16-30 just by looking at them... >_<
