Thats right, those nut bells in the tin hats are wrong once more.

Remember back to the craze of people claiming that Earth was going to fall to the comet, Elenin? Well, neither do I, but guess what, they were wrong.
Elenin will make its closest aproach to Earth on a speculative date of October 16th.... If any is left, of course. How close is about 22. million miles. What will rain down will be a small amount of debris instead of a largely intact comet. [sub] read down below for why.[/sub] And its leftovers AFTER THAT will return in 12 million years or so.

Plenty of theories about how this wimpy little comet could wipe us out is quite laughable. The comet itself was quite small, and wasn't even all that bright. These words can be used to describe all conspiracy theorists, but none the less.

1. It most likely lost a lot of mass from just space travel, along with its close encounter with the sun of September 10th. Even stepping as far as to have to deal with gigantic solar storm in August.

This simply means that we avoided a .0000001% chance of armagedon on a hundred million scale.

I am quoting the article buddy, and yes I do. Of course, thanks to the internet I can find out in a second.

Conspiracy Theorists usually, and almost always, try to connect two illogical things with other things that don't connect in any way. You can find a great amount of this in JFK assassination, to where people were saying there was more then one shooter, because simply the thought of the president being killed by one man is scary.

This is no different, people focus on the end of days, and then connect it to a small comet that may or may not stand for a religious figure to issue the coming of days, so then they combine it together and pastily glue any and all mistakes together, but sloppily to where it is still see through.

No, he doesn't. But I've never even heard of this. Disprove the Reptilians, then I'll listen.
I was referencing the article, you can tell Yahoo this but it ain't my fault I'm using a different word then supposed to.
Heres the definition.

"A conspiracy theory explains an event as being the result of an alleged plot by a covert group or organization or, more broadly, the idea that important political, social or economic events are the products of secret plots that are largely unknown to the general public."

That works well too. Thank you for posting that.

I would say you are mixing Conspiracy with Doomsaying... one sees plots and schemes in everything, the other sees the end in and of everything.

Now if the Comet was linked to a scheme of a hardcore anime religious clan bent on destroying the world so they can download all the anime without some goverment snitch on thier case, or corperate stooge claiming every episode of every decent anime as soon as it looks to be popular... that would be conspiracy.
Comet landing all is over is doomsaying :p

I mean these captcha jobies ... ¬¬ shifty stuff, they are actually goverment code spiders that will track your net usage, and entering the captcha is agreeing to allow the code to snoop.

Elenin had a close encounter with the sun on September 10th. Pieces of a comet break off. It takes roughly 8 minutes for the light from the sun to reach earth. Elenin was discovered December 10, 2010. 12 + 10 + 2010 = 2032. 2032 divided by 8 = 254. 254. Remember the 2. The 2 is important. 5 - 4 = 1. 10 + 1 = 11. September 11. 2 towers fell on September 11. It all adds up, man. It's all there.

Terrorists are controlling comets.

1: Not a conspiracy theory.
2: You just made yourself look a hell of a lot worse than those you were trying to put down. Nice job.
3: Everyone knows that Nemesis will be the end of us, duh.

Props to you for trashing conspiracy theorists so badly. There's enough trouble in life without people jerking off about 2012 etc
2012 generally is not a conspiracy theory. It's a doomsday myth.

Unless it's some coverup by groups CONSPIRING to some end, it's probably not a CONSPIRACY theory.

Granted, we could use fewer doomsday prophets, too.

Quick guide:

Moon Landing faked: Conspiracy theory.
2012: Doomsday myth.
JFK assassination: Conspiracy theory.
Apophis: Doomsday myth.
9-11 was an inside job: Conspiracy theory.
Yellowstone will supervolcano any day now: Well, kind of both. While it's true Yellowstone's on top of a caldera, anyone preaching knowledge of when it will erupt is flat-out wrong, and probably preaching a doomsday myth. However, there is also a conspiracy theory that such knowledge is being purposefully withheld and/or suppressed.
Solar flares inverting the Earth's poles: Doomsday myth
Men In Black: Conspiracy theory.
New World Order/Jews control X: Conspiracy theory
Haley's Comet: Doomsday myth.
Obama is a Secret Muslim planted in this country at birth: Conspiracy theory.

Sorry, that's all that sprung to mind. There's millions of them, and while they can coincide, the terms are not interchangeable.

The chemtrails will prevent the disintegration of the comet as it enters our atmosphere, you fool.

Also, look up the meaning of 'conspiracy'.

You defended the use of the word. I read your earlier comments. Again, you defended the use of the word. By that point, "blaming Yahoo" is no longer an excuse for being wrong. You went with it, and did not actually quote anything, heavily implying your own words.

If you had known the definition prior, there would be no reason to use it in the first place.

Edited for clarity.
