Seriously? That film was not scary, it was funny as hell, especially the ending. It had me in tears i was laughing so hard xD
Cube is quite the mind fuck, i would suggest that.
And if you want true mind numbing terror, then watch starship troopers 2. Its terrifyingly bad and can do bad things to your brain.

I also second this. The ending is one of the scariest i have ever seen, and it makes great use of atmosphere.
I thought the mist was funny too. Like when the girl gets stung in the face and it swells up haha

Try the BBC Halloween special Ghostwatch; the one film so scary it prompted suicides on its release.

Other than that, I'm pretty desensitized, so The Blair Witch Project (though I know some people hate it) and Eraserhead (in my opinion, the best mindfuck horror ever) are the only two movies that really scare me as I watch them.

Just the whole ending was awesome. When he
shoots his kid and the others in the car, then the US army drives past with their tanks and everything is fine xD
I haven't laughed so hard since

The Last Broadcast or the Blair witch Project i really recommend if you want a good scare if not Choose the evil dead trilogy

I hated The Last Broadcast, was really disappointed with it.

Anywho:

Insiduious was pretty freaking scary, but a lot of that is Jump Scares. Some of the imagery will stick with ya though.

The Collector. It's tense as hell, and incredibly slick. It gets a bad wrap as a Saw clone, but it's really not(It was written by the guys who penned Saws 4-7 though, and was originally intended as a Prequel to Saw. There is a decent amount of Gore though, so watch out if that's not your thing.

Nightmare on Elm Street (original) is pretty creepy. And actually a lot by Wes Craven is pretty creepy (Scream, Serpent and the Rainbow,The People Under the Stairs, are my favourite works of his)

The 1950's black and white film, the Innocence is an incredible film. Atmospheric, dark and very tense. Its opening seen is very chilling, while the scares are few and far between they are extremely effective. Its really unforgettable.

Insidious is supposed to be really good. Apparently it's supposed to be Paranormal Activity with elements of The Blair Witch Project mixed in.

The Exorcist is a classic. So are Halloween (the original, not Rob Zombie's shitty remake) and Poltergeist.

The Scariest movie i've seen lately is Martyrs, a French horror film made in 2008

Imdb description:
A young woman's quest for revenge against the people who kidnapped and tormented her as a child leads her and a friend, who is also a victim of child abuse, on a terrifying journey into a living hell of depravity.

it starts out as a revenge thriller, and then about halfway through becomes something else entirely. Very disturbing. Some really unforgettable stuff.
