I think it's much cleaner than the orchestra - you actually hear everything Peter sings. Also, for the sake of an epic detail, there IS no background music in that song. It's all Peter beatboxing.TimeLord said:Well!

Sorry if that went on a bit. I don't get to talk about the soundtracks as much as I would like
I had never heard that version before so I went to look it up. While I don't deny that both Peter Hollens and Lindsey Stirling are very talented people. I don't think it's as epic as the original. The violin and background music drowns out Peter's voice too much for me.Also the Skyrim theme is pretty epic
I've got the Peter Hollens/Lindsey Stirling cover. Somehow one voice and one violin makes it MORE epic.
I just got o fortuna, just a few epic minutes.Sleekit said:Carl Orff Carmina Burana "O Fortuna" etc
ye its an hour or so....eh try this then...
Already have a version, but added this too since IT'S JUST SO AWESOME.point of note: anything you do during this next song causes the universe to be saved. true story.
Not bad at all...some Samuel Barber Adagio for Strings to finish...
Shoot! I prefer no lyrics, or then latin or something, but it can't hurt. Though I did think Litany of Pain sounded more like random voice clips, which isn't what I'm looking for.Nouw said:Epic? EPIC?
If you don't mind epic music with lyrics, I can give you more suggestions.
I've already gotten their rendition of In The Hall Of The Mountain King. Me gusta mucho.Lunatic High said:Apocalypitca? I think is the bands name they're kind of a metal orchestra or something did a good verion of Paint it black no vocals to it either or so that I've heard anyway I thinbk they also did work with three days grace as well if you havn't checked that one out thats a suggestion anyways
So... badass instrumental stuff, eh?Spectral Dragon said:I'm currently looking to add to my music collection - epic music, to be precise - in the style of Onewinged Angel, Doctor Who soundtracks and Ride of the Valkyries epic. Both game music and other scores are appreciated, of course! And it doesn't matter if it's classical orchestral or electric nose flutes, but the most fitting is in the line of what I've already mentioned. Thank you in advance!
Edit: Could a mod please move this to the off topic forum? Just realised it will be better there.
