So I'm guessing lack of response on my sheet means I did well? Or at least well enough to not get criticized?

Name: malik

Gender: Male

Division: D3

Appearance: Malik stands just over 6'5 despite a deep slouch. His body seems slightly lopsided with his right side being noticeably larger and catering to the demonic nature of his heritage. a rash like spotting of deep red scales cover his entire body. A single large bat styled wing protrudes from his left shoulder while on the right there is only a stump. he tends to avoid wearing shirts due to this. built like a brick, square jawed, and heavy of brow he isn't in the running for any beauty pageants. He isn't fat but he certainly is not little weighing in at 280lbs. his legs seem squat despite his height and he tries to hide that with baggy cargo pants. his eyes are two toned brown on the outer iris fading to a crimson closer to the pupil. his hair is long, dark brown and shaggy in an attempt to hide his face.

Gear: revolver, large sledge and a duffel bag filled with some useful tools (wrenchs, screw drivers, screws and the like) he gained increased strength due to his parentage and also a resistance to magic and an increased healing rate. with these he also gained specific problems inherent to his father, salt literally hurts him and he cannot cross a line of it even to the point of being stuck if surrounded by a circle of it. holy water and consecrated ground harm him and he flinches at the mention of god.

Personality: malik has anger issues and is sometimes rash though he trys to control his emotions. he tends to be quiet though when enraged has been known to yell and make a scene. despite this he refuses to strike out in anger. he hates the way others look at him. incredibly self conscious of his fiendish looks. he deeply resents the demons whom he so resembles. malik adores fixing machines and kind of goes into a trance when working on them.

Bio: malik is the child of forced relations between a human female and a demon. his mother died at his birth and he was taken in by a caring nurse who saw more than just a disfigured abomination. she took care of him but it wasn't a free ride once he was old enough she made sure to find him work, normally behind the scenes and under the table. he has heard just about every disparaging term for what he is. Malik wasn't treated well by most people who took full note on what he was and judged him far before they knew him. malik found solace in machines, he loves building and repairing them. he would come home covered in grease and burns/cuts but smiling no matter what people had said or done. Eventually the nurse passed away and malik heard of the growing tension between the humans and the demons. Malik decided he needed to show to himself that he was better than what people saw and deserving of what the kindly old lady had given him. malik joined SLICE and hasn't looked back since

edited his story.

Character stuff
Just so you know it, [ spoiler = (What you want to name the spoiler) ] (Character stuff) [ /spoiler ] puts it in a spoiler. Without the spaces, of course. It'd be appreciated if you did so, if only because it looks cleaner.

Edit: Thanks :)

I guess I'm in, as well, then?

I'll try to be more interesting and less bitchy this time, I swear. ^^;

Your bitching was justified; I/Aaron was trying to recruit you into TSC.

@RuedyN: I'm sorry about the lack of a sheet right now, but the bio's going to be quite the epic and I'm eyebrow deep in planning/working my Eagle project right now. Fun fact: I don't have eyebrows.

PostScript: The bio is the only unfinished part of the edited sheet, so let me know if you want it.

I remember that Ultraman950 was complaining about and insulting people for character interactions and development, so I'd say it was not justified.

Well, as long as it is regretted, all is fine.

Yeah, I apologize. I was in a bad way at the time.

... I'm actually still in a bad way, but I'm trying to work through it. Mainly just trying to find a job, and fighting depression. ... Neither of which is going all that well, admittedly. Not so far. I'm taking medicine and seeing a therapist for the latter, and... the former just sucks. *Shrug*

So, if I again suddenly decide to up and leave, I assure you, it's nothing personal. I'm just a horrible person. *Shrug*

Well, as I said, as long as you regret it, I don't really care, and I wouldn't mind RPing with you again.

There were complaints about characters/people? I just seem to remember bitching about the pace of the RP and unending pestering from me about TSC. My grandiose ideas/non-grandiose executions is torture enough to excuse most any heinous act with the exception of Godwin's Law.

You could be me. *Shrug* In all seriousness, I concur with Rawen after the first comma, so I dungivafuck have minimal preference but would greatly enjoy participating in an RP alongside you.

<spoiler=Character Sheet>

Name: Carter Ursus

Gender: Male

Division: D3

Appearance: Standing at about 5?9?, Carter has hair best described as auburn and his eyes are hazel. He?s got a medium frame, and he?s been training up for the war for a couple years now, having a warning from Ira. He?s gotten pretty good with a rifle, built up his endurance, and gotten into some back alley brawls, putting some muscle and earning himself a few scars. Often forgets to shave, and so ends up with three day stubble before shaving it all off.

Gear/Powers: Standard Assault Rifle. Only augmentation is reflex sight.
Standard Pistol. Optional suppressor for stealthier missions.
Binoculars for scouting.
A locket with an empty photograph. Looking at the picture makes him feel at peace, though a little sad. He isn?t sure why.
Has no powers of his own, relies on his contracted demon for magical help. (See PimpSnowman?s profile.)

Personality: Fairly relaxed, but can get stubborn when pushed. He deeply cares about people, even strangers. He doesn?t feel a particular prejudice to certain races, even demons, though it?s a little harder for him to trust them. Still, he trusts Ira with his life, which means that there must be other trust worthy demons in the world.

Bio: Born to a family mostly unaffected by the wars that tore apart the world, Carter had a happy childhood. He was homeschooled, and lived without knowing the dangers of the world. His closest companion was his little sister, Sylvia, who he promised to protect from all the evils of the world when they were still too innocent to understand. He tried to stick by this promise even after they learned how cruel the world could be.

Carter was sixteen when a rouge demon invaded his life and slaughtered his parents, destroying his life and the life of his eleven year old sister. From there on, they had to fend for themselves. Carter took to stealing to survive. At first, it was small, but he got involved deeper and deeper with gangs and the darker side of society. Soon he was able to more than provide for his sister, but she grew to fear for him. He was becoming more aggressive, even with her, and at times she feared for her own safety with him. Still, she understood that he was doing what it took to survive, and forgave him for it. Then she got sick.

None of Carter?s money could help him. The doctor?s couldn?t find out how to help her. Something was eating away at her from the inside. Something magical. Carter worked harder than ever, got into nastier things. Finally, Sylvia couldn?t take the strain she was putting on her brother anymore. She studied ancient forbidden rituals, and learned how to summon a demon. She summoned Ira, and traded away her very existence for in exchange for Ira?s servitude to Carter.

That was 3 years ago. Now, 24 year old Carter doesn?t remember a Sylvia. He?s changed. The past, changed. He believes he?s been watched over by Ira for as long as he can remember, and now the demon has warned him of a coming storm. The other demons are done with the other races, and humanity is next on their plate. Carter has chosen to join up in the fight to protect people from what happened to his parents.

Waiting on PimpSnowman to post the demon's character sheet. Should be up by tomorrow.

The other people playing non-humans didn't tip you off that they're okay? Just make a good enough reason as to why SLICE would want them.

Name: Aaron Lockheart

Gender: Male

Division: D4

Appearance: a lanky 6'2 guy weighing in at about 73.4 kg. Piecing blue eyes with dark brown shaggy long hair. Although a scientist he had to bulk up slightly when he was with the RAF for 3 years as a pilot. In all no major scars, but he does have a slightly inverted rib-cage making it look like he has a dent in his chest. He wears a pair of Jeans, green vans skate shoes, white T-shirt with the slogan 'I'm with stupid' and a lab-coat. Completly human in his appearance and cannot trace any other form of race in his blood with the exception of possible Elven heritage but he hasn't concluded this as of yet.

Gear/Powers: Whatever the lab-team have assigned him to work with, a professional in the field of biology and thanks to a free year a degree in mechanics and design (The mechanics come from his father.) He carries around with him a Glock 17 holstered on his thigh in case he gets dragged into conflict

Personality: Calm in his approach to those of the different races however has a mistrust of demons, committed to his work and will help try to find new and inventive methods of demonic determent. Happy, optimistic yet not foolish in his choices. Prestige and prideful this can lead him to seeming snobbish.

Bio: Aaron Lockheart hails from the wonderful Island of Northern Ireland, a decent childhood with nothing to complain about, loving family yet living near rough areas of violence and gang problems he had to toughen up, and with aspirations of a game designers life he could rest easy knowing it was all planed out, but when he realized that the business of game design was dwindling and that even thought fun he wouldn't make any money, he decided that a more practical approach would be needed in life.

Attending a college for a few years he learned biology and mechanical skills, after which he joined the RAF to become a Pilot and after a few years a weapons adviser and tester for the RAF. It was when all seemed fine that his life was horribly undermined by demonic incursion.

With the death of his younger brother and father. Out raged at the demon's he joined up to combat them in the best way he knows, research and development that would lead to the detriment of the demons and hopefully safeguard those whom he was to protect in the air force.

(That's my character sheet, if any improvements are needed please don't hesitate to point them out.)

Righto. Also a question about D5. Planning on making a character in the division, but I'm curious at to whether their method of intel-gathering is based on reconnaissance, espionage or a mix of the two?
