I shot through three people's heads with a single bullet in Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and won the game. I loled. They banned.

That just made life a little more worth living.

OT: The only thing that comes to mind is the time I was racing a marathon (I'm disabled and was racing in a three wheeled 'race chair')and I came to a four way stop. I decided, very stupidly, to take the corner way too quickly and the centrifugal force pushed me out right in front of truck that to this day I have no idea how it didn't hit me. I cut in front of the truck, missing it by mere feet and ran across someones lawn. That's probably one of the more luckily epic things I've done in my life.

I was fighting in the Battle Factory in SoulSilver. I had taken down one of his pokemon, he had killed two of mine. He was using a fire type. My only one left was Froslass. He hits me with a fire move, I think "Oh crap", when Froslass survives. On 1 hp. I attract and kill fire type and next pokemon, without healing. It was awesome. :D

My highschool that I attended has very long and wide hallways. One day after school, one of my friends was sitting with a group of kids, they were on the floor, he was in a folding chair. Out of no where, I just decided to run at him, full on sprint. When I got close, I jumped, tucked my legs up, and flew over him, somewhere between 4 to 4.5 feet in the air. Time seemed to slow down to a crawl; it felt like I was hovering above him for 10 seconds, even though I knew it was only 1. I passed over him, and landed on my feet. He just turned, looked at me and said, "Dude..."

well I was raising a bastiodon which has about average HP in other words he has 250-300 hp at level 100 on average so getting a +19 for him is pretty epic (my bastiodon has 301 HP and both Defensive stats are above 360).
that tells me it's trained for hp and sp def. to explain the quick increase: if you add a lot of ev's without leveling, (for example, killing 50 kangaskhan in one level) the stats have to average as you level so your 100 hp ev you just earned get added all at once.
a bastiodon with no hp ev or iv would have max 230 hp and with max ev and iv would have 324.
as for defence, well that kind of is what bastiodons are for... the worst untrained bastiodon has def 341 and sp def 281

not saying it is not a great pokémon but your numbers are around the middle for it's type

To be fair, in the context of the thread, it's hard to do something very, very big. [footnote]I will not make a your Mum joke I will not make a your Mum joke I will not make a your Mum joke[/footnote], so they're just going with the OP's definition of epic, i.e. 'the internet one.'

That post about the guy surviving a fatal aneurysm was bloody amazing though, kudos to him!

my bastiodons stats:
hp: 301 (259 ev)
atk: 132 ( 60 ev)
def: 361 (44 ev)
sp.atk: 112
sp.def: 368 (156 ev)
spd: 74
he is a great pokemon his average sp.def and high hp for a bastiodon means he will take a hell of a beating and with metal burst give back 1.5x that beating,
but getting back on topic getting +19 for blissey is still high because it's max hp is 714 so the average hp increase is 7.14 so getting a +19 is still impressive but bastiodon's max hp is 324 so an average of 3.24 (less then half of blissey's hp) getting a +19 is epic. Also I know how the massive increase happens but that doesn't stop it being epic.

there's a typo in there somewhere, too many evs in hp, not enough in sp def, depending on nature... i'd guess at sassy?

even so, if it is sassy, that puts your bastiodons ivs at 9, 8, 9, 13, 15 and 18. not exactly stellar.

+19 hp in one level is unusual depending on when you start training though.

Hang on, I've been playing Pokemon for years. What's so great about a HP+19 in a level up?
Have you ever looked (and paid attention to) the stat-increase pop-up when a pokemon levels? Twos are most common. You can get threes and MAYBE a four. But a nineteen?

That shit be crazy yo.

EDIT: Ninja'd right out from under me...
You guys ever heard of EV's and IV's? 64's are possible on pokemon like Blissey. 19's common on everything else if done right.

I got a call from my brother in Afghanistan a few weeks back. He's got an epic story from a trip out.

So, my brother Mike who has one of the most dangerous job in the Corps, M.o.T was driving with a convoy a few weeks ago had to stop for some reason that he didn't specify. So, as he was waiting for the convoy to get started again two Afghan teens approached him, and told him they were going to rob his truck. Cue my brother pulling his M4 from his truck and loading a round into the chamber and teens running for the hills...

Doing a quick visual check of the runways and learning which helipads were which, I look over at the one nearest the Computer Center and ask my friend "That's Bravo, right?"
He looks over, "Yeah, Bravo . . ."
*BOOM*
Rocket strike. Bye-bye Helipad Bravo . . .

Once again the word 'rape' is being misused.

During a game of Rush on Nelson Bay in Bad Company 2, me and my friend were on the defending team, using, as we both have a penchant for realistic play, M16's with no sighting attachments on them and M9's, during the first phase the enemy had destroyed the two story building on one side of the river, so we situated ourselves on the same side of the river as the single-story house with our last M-COM in.

We placed ourselves slightly upriver, giving us a good view of where the enemy would be coming from, as they'd more or less taken control of the far bank, and we'd all pulled back without our M-COM station to defend, from there we ended up engaging them before they'd crossed the river, using the wall on our side for cover as we gunned down any stragglers we could.

It felt amazing and I hope it looked rather impressive as we took down their numbers at long range with only ironsights.

Have you ever done something, anything, that ended in something epic that came out of nowhere like did you to a test and you thought you did OK but it ended up with you doing brilliantly in it or play a FPS and ended up in an epic gun fight.

for me one of my pokemon got HP+19 in a level up anyone who plays pokemon can see how epic this is but for everyone else it won't have any effect.
It's not epic as you just merely trained on a specific Pokemon which gives points into Hp filling the EV points being recently calculated into the Pokemon's stats at a high level. Once camped for special attack attacking lv 18 spinda's for EV training my 70 Raquaza and got +22 easily on leveling to 71.

Ruined your epic moment? Sorry, well.......gotta run!

I was playing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer in a free-for-all match. There were a total of 6 players, not counting me, in Scrapyard. I called in a precision airstrike and a predator missile in quick succession and killed everyone except myself, and got the wargasm title. That was pretty cool at the time.

Well i once got 30 kills, 0 deaths once on Underpass in Modern Warfare 2.

And i remember that about when i was 8 i went up against the gym leader whos your dad in Pokemon Emerald, and i won it down to my last pokemon on my last hit point i.e. 1/48 hp left when i finally beat him. It took me about 10 times to beat him, i was overjoyed.

I also remember i did that on a plane, fond memory.

well I know it can easily be done but it's nice when it just happens by accident.

I ate three waffles in one mouthful. Incredibly unsafe? Yes. But it was worth it.

Also, surviving with a friend on a roller coaster when the bar holding us down came up after the first drop. That was terrifying.

Also also, 100% on my geometry final three years ago, without studying or doing most of my homework. Feel kind of bad that I ended up with the highest test grade in the class because of that.
