The gameplay already made me want to strangle kittens. ...well not really. But I want to know whose brainy idea it was to take away Tails' melee attack and have him throw bombs around, same with Rouge for that matter. For Rouge though the idea of planting bombs on walls was good, but on the ground she should've had her melee attack. Speaking of wall climbing, that needed some serious debugging. Not G. Ivingname said:Trust me, if stayed with it, the story will make your brain hurt and the gameplay will make you want to straggle kittens.canadamus_prime said:Wow, really? It's a shame, I thought that game, at least story wise, started off quite strong too.Not G. Ivingname said:Yep, one of the game's many flaws is that all three stories are shameless copy and pasting of the same levels over and over again. In Shadow's level he has to ride a motorcycle along the same tracks Sonic was following to catch up with Eggman. Oh, did I mention that the motorcycle turns as smoothly as a charging rhino?canadamus_prime said:Sonic's. Wait, Shadow has a train level too???Not G. Ivingname said:I don't blame you in the least... Which train level, Sonic's or Shadow's?canadamus_prime said:Really? I never made it to the end of that game. Stupid train level....Not G. Ivingname said:Sonic in SONIC 06!
His story has nothing, repeat, NOTHING to do with the over arching plot. He attributes NOTHING to the plot until the VERY END OF A GAME HE IS THE TITLE CHARACTER FOR.
Thing is, Typlosion is designed to be a special attacker. It's movepool in that area sucks and it's attack stat isn't great. I've still yet to find the move tutor that gives you Thunderpunch as that can actually have use. I gave Earthquake to Flygon as he would make better use of it.Zekksta said:You're meant to TMpro him by teaching himVianyte said:Typlosion is just... crap. Mainly due to his rubbish movepool. Only good move he's got is Flamethrower and I can't find anything else that would be good for him. Should have started with Totadile...
Strength
Earthquake
Thunderpunch
Flame Wheel (eventually Flamethrower)
Then his like, amazing...

I'm the one who gets to play this card first? Okay, here we go.

That's because you multiclassed Warlock with Bard. Everyone knows that Bard's completely suck. Sure, they're decent at just about anything, but someone who's in a pure class will kick they're butt at it. I guess they're really just "So Okay It's Average".kannibus said:Dual classed characters in anything D&D related. You're way better playing an all or nothing, which is no prob for me because I'm always the fighter.
EDIT: Okay oaky, I'll admit when I'm mistaken. It just seems that I personally have had no luck with creating a good dual classed character. The last time I did, my warlock/bard spent most of his time getting chewed up by rats.
Someone likes Bahderf? O__O *mind explosion*Aura Guardian said:Bidoof is goodAlways_Remain said:I shall one up you!irishdelinquent said:Really?!

Yeah, Gyarados is bad-ass, but Magikarp is a giant pile of suck. It can't even hurt anything until level 15, and even then it still sucks something fierce.

Put on the right weapon she can be a nice little powerhouse.CeallaSo said:Still, one example I can think of off the top of my head is Fran in Final Fantasy XII. She's presented as this powerful but mysterious woman, spouting cryptic nonsense about Mist and The Wood and whatnot, but she's actually quite weak. There's never any reason to use her in battle, except in situation where everyone else is dead.
