Not surprising. Fortnite is everywhere, plus portability would be nice (basically making it Fortnite Mobile: The Good Version) and Xenoverse's numbers on Switch show there's a dedicated Dragon Ball fanbase on the system (and ups my hopes of Guilty Gear Xrd on the Switch)

And all your excuses for why Nintendo can't get games... Everyone else doesn't have a problem getting games. PC doesn't even have a big company behind it and PC gets just about everything.

I don't care about announcements in the present, I care about the future, I want to know I'll be getting games 3-5 years from now. Every single time I bought a PlayStation, I knew that the system was going to get fully supported over the life of the system. I didn't need to hope that it would be announced that some game coming out that I really wanted to play would be on my system. Is Nintendo going to get DOOM 2 or Wolfenstein 3? Who knows, but everyone knows PC/PS/Xbox will get them whenever they do come out. That's the entire point and why Nintendo systems aren't really anyone's primary gaming platform because you can't bank on their systems getting supported like that.

Was there a big doubt of Fortnite coming out on it, everyone seemed prettymuch in assent that it was 99.9999999% likely to show up.


Square endorsing them is somewhat symbolic, given Square were the ones that sort of started their whole third party debacle to start with. I'll admit to curiosity about the "original titles" thing. Its an odd phrase because it isn't "exclusive titles", and its a bit more affirmed then just a simultaneous release schedule. My best bet would be a collaborative project like Mario+Rabbids, or Hyrule Warriors, or Square's own Super Mario RPG.

I get that, I don't understand this obsession with the Switch's "goalposts". To outsell a previous console generation is a non-victory made only special because the Wii U, frankly, sucked balls.

And now to add to the E3 rumors, Nintendo just revealed that the hero shooter Paladins (Overwatch but more medieval) is coming to the Switch.

Mostly this is interesting because it pretty much confirms that leak from a few days ago, so I guess the Switch is getting Dragon Ball FighterZ. Makes me wonder what Nintendo's armies of information guarding have managed to hide if THIS is what's getting out.

Again, you've missed my point. You didn't play the Xeno games prior to them becoming Nintendo properties. But once they became Nintendo 1st-party games, they're magically GOTY. I bet you wouldn't have played them if say EA, Activision, or Ubisoft had published them. You have quite an aversion to trying new things that aren't 1st-party games. 1st-party games don't have any inherent better quality outside of graphics, which is the least important factor in the quality of a game.
