Doctor Who... wow did David Tennant carry that show or what!? Yes, yes he did. It's just toss now. I've just finished watching the Angels two-parter and some of the acting and writing in it pushes the limits even for that show.

Heroes. I gave up mid-way through season 3. Shitty writing, aimless plot.

Merlin. I gave up about mid-way through the first episode when a continuity error jumped out of the TV, ran across my living room and stabbed me in the face.

Also... people who can't get into The Wire should probably just give up on TV. You're wasting it.

All of it really. I think I watch perhaps an hour or two of TV a week at lunch and that's about it. I don't know why I pay for cable (other than the fact that my ISP requires me to have both).

Top Gear - They used to mix idiocy with fact. But then it became really staged and, probably the worst part, started to ignore facts, facts such as the Veyron not being the fastest production car any more (sucking Volkswagens cock became tiresome). Also, I know of production cars from companies just as small as Ariel (who made the atom) that would blitz their track by five or six seconds, but they just ignore them for no good reason.

Dexter - Series 1, excellent. Series 2, tolerable. Series 3, I got two episodes in and thought it had lost something.

Heroes - So many plot twists and bullshit that it now resembles a bowl of spaghetti.

I don't really watch a lot of TV any more. Too much filler, not enough substance.

Stopped watching Doctor Who but I didn't give up on the series. I really liked Christopher Eccleston. It seems the doctor is developing benjamin button syndrome. Maybe I'll start again, hopefully. Also, I entirely gave up on Bleach. It's because I started watching Claymore.

I gave up on Dr.Who. I just really hate the way he "dies", and even though I liked the show, the way he "dies" will always bug me.
Erm... he's died like that with regular intervals since like... the 1950's or something. You surely saw it coming.
The first time I watched Dr.Who was a season finale where he died.

Since Big Brother and other reality shows came on TV. I just stopped watching TV all together.
These days I catch the good stuff online and sometimes either watch Comedy Central or ESPN America. (American sports are great for killing time lol)

I give up on cartoon network a long time ago, lost after the third season. And I comeplety forgot about heroes after its third season.

I gave up on Doctor Who a while ago. Drama school acting, cringeworthy scripts and implausible storylines, and the weeping angels are pretty much the only good enemy the new writers have ever thought up. To be honest I can't understand why it's so popular.

I stopped on Heroes a couple of episodes into season 3. It was bullshit.
Dr Who, I really hate David Tennant. SO MUCH. I just want to punch him in the mouth. Smarmy grinning wanker. I just watched the first Matt Smith episode and I thought it wasn't too bad.
Also, New Scrubs. 2 Episodes in and out.

Heroes, I think it was midway through series 3 that I realised it wasn't anywhere near what it used to be.

Heroes. The first season was great, but they haven't really done anything with the characters. No (permanant) character development and awful plotlines mad me give up at the start of season 4.

I remember balking and shutting off the TV the moment they trotted out the soap opera-style amnesia plot device mid-way through season one of 24. Haven't watched the show since.

The Office is no longer particularly funny, though I'm hard pressed to pick out exactly when it all went to hell. Season 4 or 5, I think.

Family Guy gave up the ghost after the season 4. I watched a few of the recent ones and found them abysmal. I never watched American Dad with any sort of regularity (or any show, since I don't have cable and depend on hulu for this sort of thing), but the most recent episode was something of a gem, I thought; I may give that show another chance.

The Simpsons - After season 5 it seemed to have lost it's mojo. But that's just my opinion and I'm sure a lot of people disagree with it.

The Sopranos - Still one of the best shows ever, but here also after season 5 everyone strarted to get older, depressed and dying of cancer. I'm sorry, but if I wanna see a depressing show about death and desease, I'll watch Six Feet Under. Plus, they killed off Adraina la Cerva whom I loved.

Scrubs - It just seems like they stripped JD of his redeeming qualities so you were just left watching a needy whining man child for most of the last series till he finally left (for good they say). And the new cast were too weak in character for the writers to be able to get rid of the old ones.

I also gave up on Doctor Who, it is mainly due to the writing. RTD lost interest in it, and it really showed. Even though he left, the new writer has dumbed it down far to much, it is actually slightly painful when some of the script reminds you of events happening the previous week...Like we can't remember something big happening in the show just 7 days ago!

I also gave up on Stargate Universe. Since I was a fan of Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis, I was really hoping this worked, but it seemed to try to be Firefly...without the humour...or lovable characters.

N.C.I.S slightly too. I still love it, but when it's on I always watch something else. It's mainly due to N.C.I.S LA...which I also gave up on.

I gave up on Family Guy because it got repeatitive.

Heroes just got a bit confusing, it was mainly. "And this happened!" "But, that doesn't make sense! Why?", "Umm...Because we can...So there!"

....Ok, going back to the Doctor Who bit again...What happened in the last episode? Who are they aiming at. They make everything so clear it's painful and then "Why not have the companion literally raping the Doctor" (not kidding) I was with my family watching it and it made me feel so awkward.

I can't say I've given up on it, but Doctor Who has really lost it's appeal to me.

Maybe it's the distinct lack of Tennant, or maybe it's me missing Davies' severely wacky writing, but I simply don't enjoy watching the episodes anymore. :(

Heroes.
It was alright but after the first series their was no point, it could of ended their and been alright but if it worked once the media sure as hell well try it again to wring more views out until no one tunes in and the franchise is ax behind a shed somewhere in Sussex

Pretty much the WWE shows.

It became too family friendly and some of the good wrestlers left for a bunch of new ones that are not interesting at all. Plus I was sick of watching Cena fight Ortan for 2 years strait.

And thats why I watch TNA now.

Heroes. I lost interest after I'd watched about three episodes of season two. I also stopped watching The Vampire Diaries after I'd watched five episodes and reluctantly admitted to myself that it wasn't that interesting a show.
