Unless I'm playing with people I know, I don't think I've ever played as a team online. Even when you're playing with a friend, you just sort of go your separate ways alone. 'Team Death match' is a very misleading name.

I play team when my team is actually open to it, but when I'm playing a game like COD where everybody just wants to go guns blazing I go rambo.

I always play for the team. of course the funnest team is the team where the plan IS to go rambo.

The exception of course is when me and my friends play Left For Dead. Were such bastards then. 'Oh i'm sorry, i didn't see you going to meele that single infected when i threw the Molotov at it'

In UT I'm the flagrunner. Organised COD games? I hide behind my teammate's riot shield. TF2? Lone wolf. So I'm pretty diverse in how I play.

Depends on the game. In TF2 I usually play a medic. In BC2 it's a sniper with the SV98 and 4x scope and fuck my squad.

Playing Halo: Reach
Same game. I saw my ally with the core, then I see a red team sniper looking down his sights. (This is invasion) I do a silent "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!", do a roll and take the bullet. I died but the core made it.

So yeah im a team player.

The only online multiplayer game I really play is Team Fortress 2. Team player is credit to team.

It really depends on the game, with stuff like call of duty or army of two i will go team player cause its actually usually beneficial.

but stuff like halo I just cant take seriously enough not to go dicking around in wooping and hollering with sticky nades and rocket launchers.

Team Player.

TF2, I always go a support class, and I'm the first to set out a dispenser in the frontlines.

I also use the extinguish features on the Pyro, etc etc.

The only excpetion to this is Spy, because paranoia is fun, but I do sap the sentry as my teammates come in and demolish the sentries etc.

Same for BFBC2 etc, Tracer, Ammo, Healing, Revives.

I'm no rambo, but I HATE when my team wont press an objective, hedging around a control point instead of moving in (in games that have them) just frustrates me, so I've developed a) a suicidal tendency of leading by example and b) a degree of maniac luck to score near the top even when my team's taking a pounding. A team player I guess?

It really depends on who I am playing with. If it is just a bunch of randoms then I normally do my own thing. If it's my friends or my brother we stick together because we know our play styles and how to use them efficiently.

Team player definitely. I suck too much at non team based fps's like MW2 and Quake to go rambo.

I prefer suiting a role needed by a team, and supporting the team that way, even if it means building sentries in choke points, or being a medic. I prefer that.

Both. I make myself utter self-sufficient, so I can survive and kill for as long as possible, whilst also going for objectives and other such things to assist the team.

The one time I played Call of Duty 4 online, I tried to be Rambo. Turns out we were playing on Hardcore mode, and I was thoroughly murderified within seconds. The one time I played Team Fortress 2, I tried to be a team player, but I confused the Syringe Gun for the Medigun. Where will my wacky escapades take me next?

I usually run off and do my own thing, although i'll occasionally help my fellow man. Although, speaking of Reach, if I try to help my fellow man in Rocketfight but accidentally kill him, can my fellow man PLEASE not be such an ass about it by immediately booting me? We all have rocket launchers dude, its a guarantee you will be killed by your team on occasion

I'm a bit of both but I stay near my team most of the time. Like in reach I normally fly the falcon on spire, providing good angles on targets, or literally dropping it to the ground to provide bit of cover for the guy with the core.
