Lol, I work IN IT tech support for a site and my boss sent this to my team. it is true though, thats what we do all day
I printed the poster off and stuck it to my desk divider today! Gave the guys that sit next to me a good laugh!

Never really used tech support, I have loads of stories about users though!

Just today there was a user that wrote Java in every section of the request form except for their name and number....

I once spent a day on the tech support lines for my ISP and my phone provider, due to connection difficulties. All they did was pass the buck back and for to each other, yeah they really helped me out there.

my friends zune got smashed he asked for repair they said they couldnt repair it so he told them a fist came out of the headphone jack and it punched itself........ they sent him a new one
that...is one of THE single greatest stories i have ever heard...i'm going to try that if it ever happens to my Zune...i really will

Only real tech support issue I've ever had, apart from them having no clue what they're doing, is when my Dad ran over my laptop. I sent it in, specifically stating that i ONLY wanted the screen replaced, nothing else, as i had already determined that everything else was fine, and they proceeded to ignore me and wipe my HDD. This lost me 100's of dollars of music, tv shows, movies, and games. Luckily Apple has really good tech support and let me redownload all my previous itunes purchases. Absolute nightmare dealing with HP though.

My buddy Mark actually talks to AMERICANs when he calls in for xbox support.. I don't know why they connect some people to India and others to the US.

I think Sony's customer service is kinda shitty at times. Not by my our experience, but my the expeirence of my fellow friends.

Friend: "Hi, my PS3 has this error, and is not letting me connect to the internet"
Douche: "Is you PS3 on?"
