If you are going to substitute heroin for something that makes you bounce off the walls and talk 200 words a minute it better be bloody good to stop you wanting heroin after.

As a general rule, the powders (bath salts) and pills you get from head shops are just dodgy as fuck. Period. Theyre synthesised and totally unregulated. I did about a third of a bag of Vanilla Sky and i was up for about 4 days. Couldn't think, couldn't sit still, vision went gradually (till about 2 weeks later. Went to the doctor and he couldn't do jack shit.

The Legal weed products are safer, but artificial cannabonoids are still a little, iffy to say the least. Pulse is dedfinitely the strongest and my favorite of all these, but you can have slight panic attacks if you're not careful. Stick to good old weed if ya can. Illegal it may be, but safe and pleasant

All drugs are not available in all areas all the time. New things are discovered or brought to a region of the world that didn't previously have it all the time. It's not illegal because the gubment is ignorant it's because a given controled substance isn't previlent enough to constitute attention sometimes. At least that's one reason. I swear people are so black and white about drug laws.

Seriously kids, just stick with alcohol. It tastes way better, it makes people a lot more fun, and the worst that'll happen (unless you're a complete dipshit and drink to the point of getting poisoned, in which case you deserved it) is you'll puke. Alcohol is a win win win.

No, my statement is that worse things can happen to someone who is drunk than puking.

Though for the record, I don't drink, never have. I never have done any recreational drugs either. Unless you count caffiene. And I had to smoke cigarettes occasionally for my old job. I hated them so much though.

i has few friends who is pretty aquianted with it.they say its pretty good and effective if you can put tabs on the amount you use.and no "Next day" effects

though i am guessing it would be illigalized very soon..

Just to say I as a non drug taker and I dont say that in a mighty fashion - just a fact to consider when I am discussing this - when my m8s take drugs you can tell and you can tell when the stuff is 'good' or 'bad', and also you can tell when some people are not effected. Everyone reacts differently for example to 98% of ppl magic mushroom is perfectly safe and you have a great time - so long as you have a sober friend watch you and keep you out of trouble - however for the other 2% they are stuck with a chemical in balance. Its like I always say "I know for a FACT that there are people in this world who can run across roads, no matter HOW MANY CARS there are and no matter HOW FAST THEIR GOING, and never get hit no matter how many times they run across. They question is are you one of them? (as in why take the risk - fyi that last bit was the doctor in training in me asking you not to risk drugs especially highly addictive ones).

And that is what's wrong with culture today. People make dumb decisions just because they assume that the government will protect them from everything and anything that will cause them harm, and then politicians use these incidents as excuses to outlaw more things, causing people to rely more on the government for anyhting they choose to do. There will always be drugs that idoits will abuse, while biased tabloids will make these drugs out to be the devil incarnet. Taking drugs and abusing them are two very diffrent things. Obviously there are some drugs its just common sence to never go near, but most are far less damaging and pose far less health risks then smoking and drinking.

Mephedrone will be around ecstasy, as you can see, it's nowhere near as bad as drinking or smoking. Also ignore "street Methadone" Because of the spelling its probably something diffrent, and if somethings "street" that tends to mean its been cut [got other things mixed in], hence why me and my friends only ever get it from factorys.

Also, the artical is pile of poop, just plain terrible jornalism, it never mentions wether he was drinking aswell (something I STRONGLY recommend never doing alot of when taking anphetamines.)I'd asumme he would be drinking if he's at a party. It dosn't mention how he took it, something VERY importent when dealing with the danger of drugs. "Mephedrone can be bought for as little as $10 in the UK" That quote is a pile of bull (asumming it means $10 a gram), thats about £4-5, it costs £15 off dealers, £10 if you pick it up from an actual factory. Also its from the Daily Mail, a terrible newspaper, thats well known over here for spreading hate, exagerating any facts that agree with them and ignoring any that don't.

Also, they jumped the 'get Mass Effect banned because of the nudity' bandwagon.

Illegalized isn't a word, even when spelled correctly.

That said, I have a hard time buying into the idea that these drugs should be available, much less to teens. There's a reason we don't let teens drink, smoke, or skydive without parental supervision: they're complete freaking idiots. Even if we leave this "heroin lite" as "legal", we should regulate it to be used only be adults and crack down on irresponsible sellers.

Or just make it illegal, getting high isn't a significant enough good to justify the risk of people dying.
