This is just another example of how bad the justice system is, in all countries.

This also has the unfortunate side-effect of reinforcing the image in many homophobes' minds that gays are child rapists.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Nobody has even mentioned homosexuals in regards to this kid being raped. In fact the OP never even mentioned the sexuality of the offender, just that he raped two boys.

That doesn't answer my own question. Stats show that sexuality rarely has anything to do with pedophilia. I'm simply saying that this case doesn't necessarily reinforce that gays are child rapists, because the text never said whether he was homosexual or not. It would reinforce the argument if the in the text it said, "local 16 year old homosexual male raped two boys."

If so, would you ever rape a dude? Let alone actively find and rape another within days of the first? Believe me, you get way too many men raping little girls, but this dude decided to rape two little boys. That, to me, at least, says 'gay'.

I am straight. As a little boy I was rapped by a straight man. Most often pedophilia happens by men and women who want to dominate, destroy innocence, or to build up their pitiful self-esteem. I can see what you're saying, but at the same time it doesn't have anything to do with sexuality. Hell for all we know little boys are all he had access to or just all that we know about. I was pointing out that nobody said anything about gays and male on male pedophilia.

The solution is simple....we need to start executing teens for shit like this.

I have said this before and some asshole completely missed the point. A child-rapist (The kid was fucking 9) had attacked a 6 year old, and I said "A man's punishment for a man's crime" and someone came at me with "Bullshit, bullshit, women can be rapists, more bullshit". I mean, sure, there was a problem with how I said it, but seriously, how do you miss a point that badly?

The gist of what I'm saying is, yes, you're correct. When you kill, you are no longer a child. To be tried as a child it has to be a childish crime. When a fucking 4 year old shoots up a school, there needs to be some 'lectric chairs turned on.

And don't give that "THERAPY! THERAPY!" crap, there's no saving people like this. When your moral compass is so fucked that you do something like this, as a minor no less, therapy is about as effective as shoving them in jail for life. People need to die for that shit, no therapy and leaving them free, no shoving them in a cell so they may be able to get out on good behavior, just kill them. That gives them no chance of doing anything ever again.

It should not. A crime is a crime. It's like that director guy who raped the little girl... Ah... Eh, screw it, I can't think of his name. Anyway, she forgave the guy who raped her. But I don't really think it should matter, should it? It's still a rape, she was still underage, (Even if she said it was okay, that's still illegal, as I assume you know.) and he's still a sick bastard. Same applies for all rape, pedophilia, anything.

Except maybe assisted suicide, that I think could be considered, er, forgivable. (Roman Polanski, that's his name!)
