Firstly, animals are not innocent, because they have no ability to be 'evil' more any morals at all. (Except dolphins who hunt, rape and beat for fun). What's so great about innocence anyway? What does it matter if they eat it or not? Surely you'd think it worse if they did.

If you're not a teenager/acting like a misanthrope for attention, or simply in a bad place please get psychiatric help. I'm not joking. This isn't a dig. Go see a medical professional and tell them what you think about your fellow humans.

Yes I am a teenager and the point is I've been wondering for a long time if I want to help humanity or try to fight it. Since animals couldn't nuke the world, humans isn't a good specie, if were so smart then why are we killing ourselves and our planet? If were SOO smart and superior shouldn't we act like it too? Humans are dangerous cause we basically are predators but we don't kill for food but because of politics or just for fun.

Animals kills for food or to protect their children. Sure the cat is worthless, but so are you and me, does that mean people should go set each other on fire? Just because it's fun? I'm upset because they set a cat on fire, I like cats more than humans. If they set a human child on fire I wouldn't care that much, but a cat, no.

I might sound like a bad person, but I'm a good guy, I have morals and all that. I probably couldn't kill a human being if I got the choice but I still think the world would be better of without us humans.

Animals ain't evil when they kill, but humans are. Humans should know better, humans can live without meat, I don't understand how someone can kill someone or something just like that, it's just cruel.

Basically people don't care/care less about animals or people they don't know. Its like when I see a train crash on TV, I can't really bring myself to care (I'm sure most people don't if they're honest) because I don't know any of the people that just died.

Aha I can actually answer why people react more when a cute animal gets abused! It's kind of a defense mechanism, evolution has done it like this that children are cute so the parents will want to keep it and nurture it. This is in the animal kingdom too! And many people feel this way about cats and dogs since they often have that "cuteness" factor which wakes our protector instincts and thereby we want revenge since it's almost like they would have set your own child on fire for some people, like me....
