Iron Maidens drummer Nicko McBrain was an atheist while the rest of the members are Christians, not hardcore believers but the fact that they had some belief in their everyday life made Nicko a Christian and he baptized himself a few years ago.
I red this in a magazine and I hope it's accurate, otherwise please correct me.

I'll go first, Dream theater did a song for god of war three.
So did Killswitch and Trivium. Nice choice too.
I don't have a favourite band, though I gotta say Dream Theater is right up there...
Dethklok is actually just two people, one drummer, and one everything-else-man. Which is scary. Cause they're amazing.
The vocalist of Judas Priest is gay... [sub]alright alright[/sub]
Ronnie James Dio (mostly in his time in Black Sabbath) was responsible for giving Metal the devil horns symbol.

When doing the music video for the song "I Want to Break Free", Queen dressed in drag and some even shaved their legs.

Lead guitarist Jonny Greenwood is completely colour blind, to the extent that his brother and band bassist Colin Greenwood would mess with the labels on the jars of paint when they were children, and Jonny would never notice the difference.

Lead singer Thom Yorke has a powerful fear of cars after being involved in a car crash when he was a teenager, subsequently providing a basis for songs such as Airbag and Stupid Car.

I rarely pick favorites, so I'll list off a fact or two about some of my top ones, see if anyone can guess them.

They got their name from a lake where a series of murders transpired.

(Easy) They kicked Dave Mustaine out for drinking too much.

They've gone through four vocalists, and are planning to release a new album with their second and my favorite) singer. Also, they teamed up with Public Enemy for a song.

See if you can guess any of them.
Children of Bodom (who are awesome)

Metallica (duh)

I dunno.

Also, Dream Theater did a song for GoW 3? Awesome.

OT: Demon Hunter is a Christian Metal band and the singer (who can sing really well) usually has a killer beard. Is that interesting enough?

Trent Reznor's name is actually Michael. Trent is his middle name. His dad was also named Michael, so he went by his middle name to avoid confusion.

My favorite band once used a giant mirror ball in a live performance. The ball was 16 feet in diameter. It would open up and inside was a 12 kilowatt Phoebus HMI lamp.

That, along some of the best music ever played sends chills down my spine every time i watch that show.

Pink Floyd, Live at the Earls Court in 94. I wish I could have been there.

My current favourite band:

They have 5 singers and a drummer and that is the only instrument. The cover of Fear Of The Dark is amazing.
