A similar game was already made. It's called Doom 3, you might have heard of it. No one liked that idea either.

Look at fps graphics, no honestly LOOK.

All I see is gritty dark gray brown graphics, the world doesn't look like that ffs and it's the main reason I'm not going to touch any games that try to look "Real" like that. Halo is good because everything looks virbrant and ALIVE and in a way looks more realistic then GOW in the colour regard.

If you want darker graphics turn down your brighteness on your TV or play Killzone one of the other.
