Because:

A. I'm 15 and having a child would ruin all my future aspirations.


B. Until I have an independent and stable finacial future, children are out of the question.

C. For the moment anyway, having a child just isn't a life goal for me.

I understand you have your rights and all, but a blog against children? Really?

Here, let me tell you why I do want kids:

I would like to be partially responsible for the human race to continue. If everyone went child free, bye bye us!

It's not against children, it's just reasons why being childfree is so great.
Face it, people who don't want children face a lot of pressure in life due to our choices.
Plus, there are TONS of child based magazines out there, but how many for those who don't want kids?

So you're just raising hell for the sake of attention then? I mean, again, I understand that you have rights, but why are you pushing this? Do you really face pressure? Do people really come up to you and your wife and spit on you, kick you, degrade you, all because they see you without a child?

I kid, I kid. I guess I could see why someone might consider being childfree would be great however, at least for myself, there would be a hollow ache in my core being if I did not have a child (or children, hoping for children), at some point in my life.

50% pure hatred. Children are noisy, stupid, have irritating voices, & are very expencive & needy little mess-making buggers.

I can see why people would want to become parents and I understand that it's very rewarding, but I just don't think I'm built to be a father. I stress out just having to watch my little nephew for more than a few minutes.

Few reasons, apart from the obvious not getting laid this century:
Got many genetic flaws, wouldn't want to pass that onto children
They annoy me greatly
And chances are i'd forget to feed them when they're little babies.

On a more long-term note, because they're a massive money drain, can be annoying, all that all that. Maybe I'll change my mind. Human nature to reproduce you know; and some people say that having kids is awesome. I dunno.
Assuming I'd get any; asshole I am, and handsome I am not.

Raising a child takes a lot of responsability on the part of the parent. You have to make sure that by the time the child reaches the age of 18 he/she is emotionally and mentally healthy. I know I am not able to fulfill the duties that come with raising a child and I'd rather not do the same mistakes my mum did.

What really bothers me about kids is the discipline (or rather, lack thereof) that I see in a lot of the children that come through my store. I don't like kids in general, but I can picture myself having a child or two someday.

I don't like being anymore responsible for myself than I have to be. And I don't want to be responsible for anyone else. (No I don't have any kids which I'm not fathering. I'm 23 and I look forward to being a father in the near future. Some of my ex-girlfriends and I have have had "scares" before but they have mostly been with the same girl I've been sleeping with on and off for 7 years with. Overall, I'll probably be married to her and have a child with her within the next 4 years.

5. More seriously, the only person I've ever considered having kids with is my ex of a year, so I don't plan to even think about it until I've found someone else I'd want to have kids with.
