It may not be trying to copy World of Warcraft thematically, but other than that, I'm comfortable calling it a WoW clone. It's a mindless, over-bloated grind-fest with uninspired design and little to no narrative. Show me evidence to the contrary, seeing as the video did nothing of the sort, and maybe I'll change my mindset. 'Till then....not interested.

but if you have a kill 50 mobs quest you can relax and use the controller

Youtube is being annoying and not streaming, but the consensus seems to be that this is an action-based MMO that can be played with a controller. Fucking awesome, hate the point and click silliness.

Is there a chance of a console port, and what about subscription fees?

No ideea about sub fees or not but they said this is a pc game that is complemented by that controller support.Thank goodness!I hate ports.

you can hook a 360 controller up to your pc and play wow as well

so now the game's a wow clone with dodging and a target reticle, oh I bet that'll still be all innovative after the first 250 hours

I wasn't interested enough to watch the whole video. I saw some gameplay a while ago and it looked alright I guess, so I assumed it was the same. Playing anything with a controller is horrible though.

Hardly. There are studies showing that if players with a mouse/keyboard plays against players with controllers in FPS games, the m&k people will win the majority of the time.

OT: I've been keeping my eye on this for a while, it looks awesome. I watched a video of 2 people doing an open dungeon, and was quite impressed at how the boss ran after the healer. So the healer had to kite the boss whilst healing the DPS, looked fun.

One thing I live in Monster Hunter is that it actually takes skill to take down monsters. You could have the best sword in the game and still die in 2 minutes.

I want that on PC MMOs.
And btw, one thing I HATE on MMOs is how "buggy" they look. The animation are ver stiff and the mechanics outdated and the AI completely suck on every MMORPG I've ever played.

How can you call it a WoW clone?, have you played the game entirely and used/experienced every aspect of it?, no, you haven't. To shorten my rant; Everyone's shit smells, but they all smell somewhat differently.

OT: It looked awesome, fighting in real time rather than just hitting a rotation, added some features that made fights look fun not repetitive like WoW, For example, Tera = fight looking bad, dodge like your life depended on it and wait for an opening or back up, WoW = fight looking bad... Erm, run like fuck and you might live :/
