Heavy, hands down. He has a massive minigun, a shotgun/uber sandvitch, and his fists/giant-ass boxing gloves. Plus he's huge. I can't imagine a better bodyguard. Except he has no brain, so he'd just guard me. I'd have a Spy/Sniper for surveillance purposes.
The solider would proably blow his legs up while on the job. The Heavy would be to expensive (400,000 for 12 seconds of bullets no thank you.) The Demoman and the Pyro would proably destroy you, The sniper,Medic,Spy or Engineer would be the best choice.

But yeah. I'd probably have the Medic. With that badass needle gun and the pointy helmet? No one would dare come near me.
Although it would be incredibly awesome just to hear him scream "STANDING NEAR THE POINT DOES NOTHING! GET ON THE POINT, DOMPKOFF!"
