what with the internet and all, Ive been hearing alot of "THAT BOSS WAS SO F*CKING HARD" or "meh, he's a chump to beat"
everybody has a oppinion about boss characters or enemies in video games, so this is my question.
have you ever heard the hype of a boss character, and had a completely different experience with him?
a good example of this would be...
I heard he was the easiest boss in the game, so when I played it I thought I would try to kill him first.
turns out hes a little wh*re if you dont have the leaf shield.
(keep in mind, this was the first megaman game I ever played)

Every boss in Ninja Gaiden 2 falls into this category for me.
Everyone says that they are impossible, but I beat the game rather easily.

I found airman was pretty easy. The final boss of ME2 was also joke.
Now a real hard boss would be the Doc. Nefarious and the final boss of Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

Crawmerax the Invincible!
Sure he was stupidly hard until you figured out a glitch you could use to beat him without any real effort.

Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer.

Everyone on the forums made him out to be this powerhouse, that could instant-wipe your party in 1 move, even on Normal Difficulty.

I grinded my arse to a bloody stump and created the 'perfect' team to attack him, at which point, in less then 7 turns, I had taken him down. Same story on hard mode.

People said that RAAM in GOW could not be beat alone on Insane!
They were wrong!.. Its doable!.. Just takes a few tries(over 25) and aloooot of patience!

Not really a boss, but Deathclaws in Fallout 3. My friend made it seem like if you got in a fight with one, you were screwed. I randomly ran into one, and took it out rather easily.

Now, I'm not saying I'd want to waltz into Old Olney and challenge all of them at once, but my friend made them seem worse than Behemoths.

I'm going to pretend people said the bosses in Lost Planet were hard, because it makes me feel better when I beat them fairly easily.

Fallout 3 Fawkes on Hard with Fists; I refuse to fight with anything besides fists. He said it was impossible. I proved him wrong. It took a little time, and i needed 15 Stimpacks, but i beat him to death.

That's what she said!

All bosses in Alpha Protocol. Yes, even Brayko. All can be defeated with two uses of Chain Shot. That ability is ridiculously overpowered. I even took down the fucking chopper with it.

Final boss in Mass Effect 2 was a breeze. Maybe because my Shepard never leaves Normandy without a mini nuke on his back.

Alma form Ninja Gaiden was incredibly easy. I can beat her in 15 seconds without getting damaged.(No really I did)

Now her second form was much harder and cheaper.

Flemeth

Took down first try. Didn't even need a healer or a single healing potion. Needed 2 injury kits after the fight, though. Sten is brittle...

The boss in Halo: ODST was PAINFUL!!

Oh wait..

In all seriousness, I had some one tell me the boss fight in Assassins Creed 2 was a hell of a fight before I got to play it... When I beat the game I slapped that person.

Everyone says that the end sequence where you have to get through that platform section with your dad attacking you is so hard. Granted, it's probably the hardest part in the game, but it's not that hard. It only took me a couple tries to figure out his attack pattern, then you'll never get hit.

Elizabeth Green from Prototype. Everyone made her out to be this almost impossible ***** to beat and some claimed it to take them an entire hour to beat her.

Even with her 1 hit kill wave (which is piss easy to dodge because it gives you a fucking slowmo warning), I beat her in 10 minutes just using the swords downward slash off of a building over and over again.

When i first played LoZ:OoT all i heard from other people was that the Bosses would eat me alive.
With the Exception of Morpha and Ganondorf's first Form i took out all the other bosses with ease.
