Sad, I used to play megaman out of order to have a challenge...airman died to just the normal arm gun...

But I'd say the alternative dragons in Dragon Age...seriously, well planned attack and the right buffs. I lost to a dragon once, then steam rollered the others.

Evrae Altana in FFX, every where you look it says that he's the toughest boss so far. Susceptible to slow and by then you should have hastega half his HP gone by his first turn.
If you throw a phoenix down on him you insta win :)

FF7's Sephiroth. Between his great reputation and my older brother talking about how difficult and close the fight was for him, I was... rather disappointed when he turned out to be a very tame and simple final boss (for me, anyways). I didn't even grind or prepare or anything. I just charged the crater as soon as I could as a joke, expecting to get my ass handed to me, and he was simply destroyed with very little difficulty.

FF6's Kefka and FF10's Sin as well, although I admit I over-prepared like a ***** for those two. :)
Chuckle the sad thing about Sephiroth is when I got drawn into the life stream and all that I already had the full limit break. I was like. Alright I can beat this clown alone! Threw the limit as my first attack....and won. he never even got a swing. Very antidramatic.

Hmm... Oh, everyone hated that spider boss, what was it... Man at Legs, from Pikmin 2. All of my friends, anyway- they said it was the hardest Pikmin fight ever.
I took him on, scared, tense, exhilarated... and lost a total of five pikmin.
I lost WAY more in that second fight with the queen bulborb. Stupid Larvae eat as fast as they can bite...

Elizabeth Green from Prototype. Everyone made her out to be this almost impossible ***** to beat and some claimed it to take them an entire hour to beat her.

Even with her 1 hit kill wave (which is piss easy to dodge because it gives you a fucking slowmo warning), I beat her in 10 minutes just using the swords downward slash off of a building over and over again.
I actually stopped playing the game because of that boss.

Never picked it up again.
Elizabeth becomes a joke as soon as you realize you can just jump the building left to her (behind the ad-screens) and block off every attack of her with the wall. I just chilled out there, killed some hunters to fill the health bar and unleashed the finishers on her.

Hell, at the time I beat her, I didn't even know any finishers besides the starting one and it still was only a matter of minutes.

I don't even know if this counts, but it's th'closest i could think of...

my old roomate played (or at least beat) GTAIV long before i did...mostly because a lil' less than halfway through it i just lost interest...(i've since beat it and both expansions)...but when i started playin' again, he went on and on about how much he was greatful he used the alot of the all-the-best-weapons-type codes...because the "bank heist" mission was next to impossible.....

i didn't find it so tough...take cover, aim for nothin' but headshots, move to the next cover once everybody stops movin', repeat....*shrug*

although i do whole-heartedly agree with the Killer Croc mention in Arkham...what a letdown...

People said that RAAM in GOW could not be beat alone on Insane!
They were wrong!.. Its doable!.. Just takes a few tries(over 25) and aloooot of patience!

Agreed - he died before and he looks undead...hmm phoenix down! 2 hits dead

Probably the boss in FF7 you have to beat to get Vincent since people claim it's impossible to beat him at that stage when he hits to hard. Nobody puts 2 and 2 together and realises he's that strong if you put him in his physical form. While the magic form is a pushover

Dark Link in the Water Temple. All my friends were like, Dude he's fuckin' hard, you won't win! And I whooped his ass with the Megaton Hammer none of them even though of using against him. _._
I would say this, but Ganon took the cake for me.
Ran in, soon as it started I popped a Nayru's Love (With 4 bottle of mana pots to keep it up) expecting to be kicked 8 ways from Sunday and... he never landed a hit the entire fight... Was actually kinda anticlimactic really. o_O

Last boss in return to castle wolfenstein, neither my brother or father could do it so I have a go and down him in one.

Super difficult amazing tactics:

Strafe and shoot.

I'm going to pretend people said the bosses in Lost Planet were hard, because it makes me feel better when I beat them fairly easily.

The second and third seymour fights in FFX. Everyone tells me how hard they were but they were extremely easy. 2nd seymour is beaten by the reflect spell, whilst the third seymour is beaten by just switching your party members around after he zombifies 1 of em (at one point he actually ended up using full life on my dead character... thanks seymour :D)
thats funny because seymour flux (3rd form) was a nasty SOB for me...i had anima at seymour omnis at the end of the game, so he gets upset by his mommy showing up to fight him and her overdrive is absolutely...well, it killed him in one hit. without that though, he is tough.
thats just my experiences with it while i was a few years younger.

my friends older brother never beat the omega pirate on metroid prime 1 back on the gamecube. i always wanted to watch him play, and i watched like 5 attempts to kill him...and about...what, 4 years later, when i actually got the dang game, he wasn't all too difficult...and now i can beat metroid prime 1 and 2 on hard mode with one energy tank. except quadraxis in MP2 took me several tries, but im a metroid veteran now. nowadays im all halo and mass effect XD

Crawmerax the Invincible!
Sure he was stupidly hard until you figured out a glitch you could use to beat him without any real effort.
Crawmerax is a complete dick if you're on your own. But once you look him up online, he becomes the easiest boss ever - glitch ledge where he can't hit you + massive weakness to certain elements for all his little cronies makes him a breeze. The loot from him was disappointing too.

That's zombie Evrae, not a zombie in the first fight.
