Final Fantasy XIII so far is my least fave.

Having to spend another 20-40 + hours just farming ingots from the same enemy over and over just so you can get all weapons and thus the trophy = fail.

It's the only one away from Platinum and thus stopping me from selling the game.

Out of the Blue in Portal: Still Alive. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

What are you talking about? I have all but the challenge achievements in Portal and none are called "Out of the Blue"

Portal: Still Alive is the version that can be downloaded on Xbox Live Arcade. The achievement is for only entering the orange portal (thus coming 'out of the blue') throughout the entire game. It might be the other way around, and I think it only starts counting once you've unlocked both halves of the portal gun, but you get the picture. Pretty tricky when all your work can be wasted by one absent minded mistake.

Devil May Cry 4's achievements were ridiculous. I mean, they want you to play through the game about 5 times, each time getting more impossibly difficult? Pah.
And if I remember correctly, Infinite Undiscovery had some weird achievements...but I sold that game a long time ago

Fable 2 pub games has one annoying one. Get a jackpot in keystone. Any achievement based entirely on luck is just plain stupid.

The get all 100 feathers in Assassin's Creed 2. No, I do not have the spare time to hunt down 100 feathers in Italy. Especially since most of them are in Venice or Florence.

Overkill on Halo 3.

Multiplayer achievements are a ***** in general, but I have 1745 gamerscore in Halo 3. I'm missing one 5g achievement, and that is Overkill.

If I ever get that achievement I'll die a happy man

The one I have trouble is the infamous two for one achievment. My friend says he's done that mutliple tmes. Oh and overkill is hard two. Come to thing of it pretty much all of the ranked online ones.

"There is no I in squad" on the first Bad Company on PS3. For the love of god can anybody offer any advice on this thing? Me and a friend just spent about 20 minutes committing suicide and spawning on each other well over 20 times. Yes this forum was made soley for the purpose of me bettering myself.

This one fucking annoyed me, I tried something similar and it never worked out, I gave up and camped in a roof when we were getting overrun, my team kept spawning on me and it all worked out.

My FKN trophy is also on Bad Company 1. The get all online awards one, worth bronze level, but things like what 50 boat roadkills and junk makes it annoying. to date this is the only achievement I really want and can't get, i have BC 1 at like 98% and am missing this one for the platinium. then Bad Company 2 comes out and I get the Plat in a few days. Still kinda annoyed about the first one

The 'SURVIVOR' achievement on Prince of Persia Classic on XBLA (yes the achievement titles really are in block capitals). You have to complete survival mode, which means getting through the entire game in one life. Given the one-hit-kill nature of the traps and most falls, it gets frustrating pretty quick.

I beat ,modern warfare 1 on veteran... I know what you mean that was the hardest achivement I have ever obtained.

You're allowed to use smoke bombs to get that trophy.
