I've beaten I-No in Arcade GGXX Accent Core, and I hated it. SNK boss syndrome is lame.

Jinpachi in Tekken 5 is probably the least fun boss I've fought in my entire life of playing games, and I played Plok.

The fucking Favela level in MW2.
Same here. Until I noticed it was pretty easy to just run through everything without even killing anyone.

I've beat Pokemon Ruby... srsly, leik infinity bajilion tymes, and a few days ago I decided to go back. "Here we go, wahey, replaying!" I thought as I ventured back. I breezed through the game, probably because of my three highest-level starter Pokemon I always keep so I can trade them to myself at the start. Yes, I bought another copy just for that.
Anyway, when I came upon the Elite Four or whatever they're called in the latest version, I hit a solid wall. It was like their Pokemon were made of Electromatter (Which, as you know, is matter's badass grandma). I have a feeling I'm going to be battling them for a while.
Me and my faithful Sceptile, Trusty.

GoW 2, titan mode, keeping the translator alive, took me months to get past that point.

When playing the Pokemon Mystery dungeon there have been several times where I had to complete a mission by beating a monster house, which, if playing without an action replay or other such cheating device, is impossible.

Azezel from tekken 6. I do not see why it was necessary to make a boss that spaming and cheap.

The final boss battle in MP3 on Hypermode. And I mean both Dark Samus and AU 313.

Dark Samus only because the fucking ***** insists on using her BS "haha I'm invulnerable" attacks through almost the whole battle, so you can't damage her fast enough to beat the timer.
AU 313 because of how fucking long it takes to beat Dark Samus and how close you are to a complete Phazon Overload by the time that section of the fight even starts, and how few Anti-Phazon units get dropped during the fight.

God of War III.

The fight near the end with the molten Cerberus! The Cerberus wasnt the problem. It was those god damn half goat people that killed me all the time. Im still trying to do it on NORMAL!
Just keep kicking the exploding puppies at them.

Just cause 2, some plane race, where they gave me a crappy plane, and expected me to fly sideways through a gap barely larger than the plane itself.
and to do all sort of weird maneuvers.

also, One on expert on GH3.

Right now, Dholmagus' second form in Dragon Quest 8, mainly due to the fact that he hits hard and the motherfucking Zing spell never wants to revive Jessica.

Also the Arch fiend battle in Ninja Gaiden 2 is kicking my ass.

On my Backlog: Raja Naga form DDS2, I'm to lazy to grind to get the right set up.

Finally I eventually got past it but the freeing the prisoners mission in Wild Arms XF, It let you take three people but I ended up just using Clarissa because I keep getting one character caught. I really hated that level. Then It's followed by a pseudo-escort mission. I think XF was trying to piss me off.

Currently for me it's the fight just after killing Sillitha in Darksiders, those stupid goddamn wraiths that phase in and out have got me stuffed, and I only have two health bars left thanks to the inopportunely placed auto-save. Grr.

Last fight in Beyond Good and Evil (with the random reversing of controls)

and the rooftop Mecha battle with Spectre on the PS1 with the original Ape Escape

Both took me weeks of attempting, then I gave up and completed both about a year later

Most definitely. It's been a month since I got to Dracula, and I still can't beat him. Damn homing flaming apples.
It's interesting just how fluently and imaginatively a person can curse at that infernal mass of hellpixels.

Last section of the Meat Circus in Psychonauts. HOLY SHIT... the whole game was so easy and relied on awesome storytelling to entertain... than it got Nintendo-hard ( http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NintendoHard )

Got it was so insanely frustrating... and to my shame i have to say: I never finished it. tried for about one-two hours than i watched the end on youtube.

I'm going through ME 2 on Insanity, and there's a side mission where you land, run to the end, activate a beacon, and run back with what seems like an infinite amount of Mechs that come at you. I went so slow eventually they ran out of patience with me, because if I tried to move forward at all, I'd immediately die.

"Screw it, we aren't spawning anymore mechs. It's a waste of our time."

It took me an hour to get through a basic side mission.
stole mine. so, they eventually DO go away? good to know...this was the point at which i'd stopped because i was getting too frustrated.
