I couldn't beat RAAM on the highest difficulty. I had to use the box glitch to kill him.

Ninja Gaiden II the two red Armadillos.

1 They moves that are impossible to dodge both at once.
2 They blend into the background.
3 You don't have any moves that don't involve walking forward.
4 I'm alone in an empty room with two bright red enemies larger than tanks and a I can't see either one. I have never played a game with a worse camera. That is not an exaggeration. Even Resident Evil 1 has a better camera.

KotOR II, the final boss. I didn't build my character for straight combat, so she was literally too tough for me to beat.
My strategy turned in to:
1. Force Lightning
2. RUN THE FUCK AWAY
Over and over and over again...

The fucking train level in Sonic '06. The first part with the bombs was infuriating enough, but then came the running section (you know the parts where Sonic just constantly runs and all you have to do is steer) that part pissed me off sooooooo much. Of course when I ran out of lives, I had to redo the fucking bomb part. Grrrrrrr!

The original Sonic the Hedgehog. Towards the end, your own speed works against you. You beg for the game to give you Mario to play as instead, because that would work better, as he is capable of not rolling towards traps... but no, you MUST run into that spike. You MUST fall off that platform to your death. You MUST start the game all over again when you finally get "game over" (which you will).

Old platformers just do this in general, though.

Haha, I remember him. I brought out my guildies and we destroyed him, no problems. But most of them were better at GW than I ever was.

You know who was annoying, though? Rotscale. At least I took the damn bow after three hours of trying.

Had it with the Fushia gym in Pokémon Yellow. Couldn't beat the tosser's...Venomoth, I believe. Threw the game away in disgust and didn't touch it for months. A while later, I beat the guy.

Man, that was neat.
Muk always kicked my ass. fucking minimize... you could be in your forties and still get beat by that stupid thing.

The entire Serious Sam: TFE game, on seriously with 400% extra enemy health. Beating the game on this difficulty, with these settings is an achievement on the Xbox 360. I've beaten it but it took me and three other friends about twelve hours to beat only to find out that to get the achievement we have to beat it one sitting... Yes, I am bitching and moaning (and no one cares) but come on now. Does anyone actually have this achievement?

Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness, couldnt kill Boaz.
Mount hyjal level on warcraft 3, after hundreds of attempts finally beated it by a couple of seconds, never touched the game again. The expansion was much easier after this one.
Metroid on NES, months to kill the finall boss.
World of Warcraft, when bosses were hard to take, my guild took 5 months of attempts till killing Onyxia.
Civ2 midgard scenario, could never get the call to arms victory, not even in settler difficulty.

I'm playing god of war 3 right now, fighting Zeus on titan mode. The fight has gone into its third fight, and well I'm stump once he starts summoning his clones, they just gang up on me spamming the same lighting bolt attack. I can't get near him.

Edit: Never mind, I finally beat him.

God of War 3 is giving me this feeling now. The game is so fucking hard...even on normal. I die constantly on sections , only to finally pass by the skin of my teeth. And I'm not even that far into the game

yeah Rotty is a royal pain, but he's not in an area you're required to move through. I picked Mobrin not only for his ludicrous damage output, but his nasty tendency to sneak up on you while you're battling a swarm of Raptors or Angorodons...
Also.. you think they're hard in NM, Hard Mode Rotscale will make you curse the day you ever decided to play GW... or not. lol!

A pic for the non-Guildies:
