...but I have to admit from what that trailer shows it does seem to be very Unchartedy, especially when he threw that petrol bomb. The combat looks to be fun and visceral and I like the idea of having to conserve ammo and having Ellie cause a distraction when you are in trouble.GonzoGamer said:They're not calling it "Uncharted" anymore?

That's the basic premise.Nature encroaches upon civilization, forcing remaining survivors to kill for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States.
I think they are going for a young girl who is really mature for her years, which makes sense seeing as she will have had to grow up quickly in that sort of environment to survive. I think in one of the earlier press releases Naughty Dog mention that she is wise beyond her years.Rednog said:I'm a little confused about the female protagonist, she talks like shes in her 20's but looks like she's an early teen? I think Sony thinks gamers have some sort of Ellen Page fetish with the girl from the The Last Of Us looking like her and her actually being the main character in Beyond.ZehMadScientist said:Yeah, I'm sold. It looks friggin' amazing. Added to my must play list.

Ellie... Ellen... Purely coincidental, I'm sure.
