Damn, E3 has gone totally snuck by me this year.

As for the game... It looks good. Nothing too new, but then I only saw a few minutes of it so who knows what direction it'll go. I hope Naughty Dog lays off the scripted, cinematic gameplay a bit this time around. I liked Uncharted, but it would be nice if they tried something different this time.

The enemy encounters look very brutal and intense, but that girl seems to have a smart mouth, and I fucking hate smart mouthed little kids.

I think I prefer a smart mouth on a female character (yeah, I admit....thats kind of big deal for me) than your run of the mill white protagonist *cough*nathandrake*cough*

not to mention when "smart mouthing" is 90% of the dialogue (shit gets old..fast)

but that's just personal preference

I don't mind a smart mouth on a female character. But on a kid, not so much.

I hated Hitgirl from Kick-Ass for the exact same reason.

yeah...her "kid" status is kind of in the air though

I mean as I said before I think they redesigned her to look younger, she doesn't talk so much like a"kid" but looks kind of small or her age

Sorry, but i didn`t get half of your post. You`re pissed about drakes drakes character and the supernatural stuff in the first one(which they get to explain in each Uncharted game, it still stays a bit supernatural but that`s were the Indiana factor comes into play)? It`s not everyones cup of tea, but to me it made sense in the end and in the context of the game.

LOU has fresh characters and a interesting Crysis2/Enslaved setting (couldn`t resist, urban mixed with jungle is THE shit now) and it really is worth a look... especially for those fed up on Drake, say what you will but ND handles natural sounding dialogue really well.

We'll have to wait and see. It will probably be a mix of both.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure it won't be my thing. Fortunately that won't stop anyone else from enjoying it, and I wouldn't want it to, which is always good to remember.

I'm just hoping that this game sparks an AI revolution of sorts in the game industry more than anything. If it does turn out to be all that then maybe other developers will realise "Holy shit, that's actually super important to a game's functionality."

If you ask me Watch Dog, AC3 and Halo 4 are getting my attention more but this looks very, very promising. Hopefully it will look more fun for me as time passes by us.

You seem to be referring to the first trailer.

The zombie creatures don't appear in the gameplay demo.

Will probably end up on my "Must Buy!!1" list, however I'll need to see a bit more of the actual game(not just scripted events) to make up my mind. Seemed like it could be pretty awesome though... Apart from the girl sidekick. Even if she's supposed to have matured quickly the voice just doesn't add up to her figure.

Oh well, as long as I don't have to carry her around and stuff it should be fine, though I guess we will. >.<
