Actually, I'm not sure why that's so hard to believe. In Uncharted 3, they already had enemies that yelled "He's out of ammo!" if you fired an empty gun. (Pretty sure it was Uncharted 3, but I know I've seen it SOMEWHERE.) It also had contextual melee attacks. Drake would sometimes grab a nearby object and smack someone with it if you hit the "Punch someone in the face" button, rather then just punching them in the face, but only if a "smackable" object happened to be near. The only part of the video that I find hard to believe is the girl's interferences. But apart from that...Honestly, I don't see why this video is hard to believe.XMark said:Yet another trailer that looks awesome but is probably scripted like crazy. I really don't believe that whole thing where he runs out of ammo, the bad guy says "I know that noise" and walks up, and then the girl throws something at him and the main character charges him. I highly doubt that arose as part of the natural AI routines of the enemy and the girl in that situation, or that the engine dynamically decided that the main character should slam the dude's face into the desk because of their exact position in the room.
Well...Let me amend that. I'm sure this sequence WAS scripted for the sake of the demo (all demos are scripted, obviously. They don't want some random fuck-up ruining everything in front of millions of people) but the point is that it COULD have happened unscripted in the actual game. Isn't that the point of all demos like this?
