I just conquered Greece in Rome - Total War.

Someone tell me how awesome this game is. Someone. Please. I'm beginning to think the Escapist doesn't know this game, owing to the huge number of hints I've dropped about it in the last two days with absolutely no responses.
Well as the Juili I've conqured about.. a third maybe, of the known world. My only major threat is egypt right now. The other roman families bow before me.
Bwa-hahahahahaha!
Ah, but I started this campaign 2 days ago. And getting past the Greek Cities/Macedon barrier as Brutii is one of the hardest parts of the game.
Quite true indeed.
Bastards with their Phalanx even though the Greek City states is my most often played faction.
Dealing with any horse heavy factions are a pain to though. All those horse archers....
*shudders*
Pffft. Phalanx.

(Hastati + general for morale in the front, equites in the back. Works every time.)
Pricipes work better lol
Heavy armor ftw
You generally unlock principes after conquering most of Greece, but yes. Principes work better. Velites are noobs.

Don't underestimate the power of derailing. If I had the interest, I could probably derail a thread like this.
I disagree.

I think you just did, therefore you can't derail it.
Think I just did what?
Derailed it.

In fact, quoting someone else adds rails and therefore derails the thread.
I fail to see what you are doing. I'm just saying I could derail the thread if I wanted to.
How can you fail to see what I'm doing?

I'm not doing anything, besides eating the muffin you gave me.
I got that muffin from the bakery in the hammer space portal where I got mine, good isn't it?
It is a reasonable muffin.

I've had better, I've had worse I suppose.

Of course, I prefer donuts, but still.
Did you know the Large Hadron Collider is in the shape of a doughnut? It's going to blow up and suck the world in (maybe).
No, no it's not. It's already been fired. It was never going to destroy anything.

Yeah, to get maximum speed going.

And that's bullshit.

Well then you should go to your hammer space bakery and talk to them about the sub standard muffins. I didn't want to say anything because I'm polite.
I don't know how to get there.

Is that game worth getting over Civilization 4, and what's the online like (I wanna play it with a friend you see)?

Just want a muffin/doughnut really bad until you can walk into yourself and you'll find the bakery. Then berate the workers.

?
No you just have a large enough city with an up to date barracks and you get them.
And if you place an upgraded unit of Velites behined anything, shit will get fucked up.

To Derail a thread is to remove it from the original intent, yes?

the intent of this thread is that it has no rails in which to derail, am I right?

Therefore to derail this thread, I would need to add some rails, as that would detract from the original intent of no railage, if you get me?

But then this thread would have rails and would not then be derailed, so in order to derail the thread, One would have to remove the rails, which would put the thread back on the metaphorical rails, as dictated in the Original Post? but then that would mean I would have to derail the thread by adding rails...

that either makes perfect or no sense.

I think my brain just asploded. Anyway, have some rails.

I love you.

But if I want a muffin that bad, then even a sub-par muffin will make me pay for it, and I can hardly complain about it while I'm eating one of their foods.

Which is why you stay and eat the muffin there, then berate them.

I like Trains....
My friend is terrified of them, when we go anywhere on the train he stands with his back against the wall of the platform trying not to look like he's scared.

It would still be weird, walking in there, buying something, wolfing it down, then complaining about it.

But nothing's under my watch, so doing anything under my watch is literally impossible.

But it would take a feat of self control to avoid buying a muffin/doughnut.

But it's the muffin shop in your hammer space, they have to listen to you.

But won't the muffins be different to the one you gave me? Either that or you went in my hammer space.

I told you I went into your hammer space do to my overriding need to eat muffins. Besides, my hammer space has a steak house.
