Mila pulled off an acess panel in the computer room, and began to look at the cables, the ship was an older model, so it took her a second to locate the I/O sockets.

The woman's voice rang out on the comms, replying to Merutio's request. "I'm counting about a dozen pins for the I/O sockets up here." The plug was waved in front of the camera, looking fisheyed and distorted by the low-quality camera.
Merutio turned at the new information, doing the sums in his head and on his hands. When he finished, he keyed the woman again and said, "Could you break off the bottom row of pins with an insulated screwdriver? They're the wrong kind for this ship's power frequency. Once they stop being used, we should be able to boot the navigation core without a problem."

Shanks always kept a pack of cards up his sleeve. In prison, where you were playing cards for more than one meal a day, you needed to cheat. But the hangover made him clumsy. As he tried to swap the aces under his sleeves with his other cards, a few fell out from his sleeve.
Vince seeing a few cards fall to the floor laughed to himself. "Let the boy cheat, he said himself he only commited one crime in his life, he is just trying to get a few more sins in so he can bet".

I open the bet with the murder of an unknown man, I killed him on a job, just an unlucky sod that was in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Vince Put a red chip in the center with murder written on it then looked to his right to watch the next players face as he bet.
"Shouldn't we be, you know in the air by now, if this mission was so important wouldn't we get a ship that works?"

"My wife died of a disease I couldn't stop, along with a few thousand others, so I guess one could count that for murder. This standard poker beyond the betting rules?"

Vince looked around for a comm switch, seeing one he put his cards down within reach of anyone whowould want to grab a quick peek. He paged the whole ship, "Do we think we are going to take off soon or should I take a few jobs planetside?" He then went back to play cards checking to see if his cards had moved.

"Copy that" Mila said into the intercom, she hunted aroudn the computor room for several minutes looking for a tool box. Eventually she found a small one in the bridge, taking the insulated screw driver, she broke the bottom pins. Hovering the camera over them she acessed the intercom

Joke stood up and walked behind the bar, standing up with a bucket. "Here, use this. I'll go see if I can find a medic, that power short may have messed up something in the comm." Joke dashed out the door in search of someone who knew more about practical medicine, and not just the chemistry aspect.
