Name: Ines Garcia

Gender: Female

Physical Description: Medium height, with an olive skin tone, a Hispanic appearance, and brown hair cut short. She wears tight clothing most of the time, to show off for her "friends." (See Reason for Being Commited.) At the time of being incarcerated, she was wearing a blue tank top and khaki shorts. She also has a scar on her knee from a knife fight, that is to say, a fight with a knife she thought had called her a jerk.

Emotional and Mental disposition: Ines has a bubbly, party-loving personality, and a healthy enough mental disposition. She always seems happy, giggling at jokes and getting drunk on a whim. She frequently sparks up conversations with anyone (or anything) near her. However, her cheerfulness usually gets on other people's nerves.

Reason for being committed: Ines has syndromes of delusional companions. She believes objects like blenders or toothbrushes talk to her, and respond when she talks back. She was incarcerated after her dishwasher told her to beat up her neighbor, which she did, and was arrested and thrown into Madam Geria's.

History: Ines first found out about her companions when she was three. Her teddy bear appeared to talk to her about the candy she had been eating, and since she was so young, her parents assumed it was just her being young.

But as she grew up, she kept hearing objects speak to her. She often had lengthy, whispered conversations with homework papers after school on the topic of teachers. She managed to keep it secret from her parents even when she left for college.

While she was at college, her symptoms intensified. She would hear her stuff talk to her at night, and wouldn't let her sleep. Her dorm-mates thought she was crazy, and she was reccomended for therapy. At therapy, she slowly went through rehabilitation. After she finished college and got a degree in music, she still was in therapy to finish off her disorder.

However, two years later, she heard the voices again. Her dishwasher began speaking to her, and the next minute, she was beating her neighbor in the face. She was arrested, and taken to Madam Geria's.

Side Notes: To her, different types of items have similar personalities. Bagels are, quote, "almost too funny to eat," whereas sporks are "such posers, trying to be forks and spoons."

Is it good, or do I have to go burn it and make a new one?
Great one!

you could make it an innate and uncontrollable, then yes.
Wait I'm confused
So if I say Tom has no control over it and doesn't understand how it works (it works based on how much and how intently he thinks about someone which he can't force)
Then I can or can't have it ?
You can have it, but be reasonable with it and don't go overboard.
Thanks
So I am in right?

Question: Neokarl says his character is 'mildly psychic', and has been accepted. Can I interpret this to mean that I can make my character also a little bit psychic? It would likely take the form of projection, ie when his mind is particularly disturbed, he'll broadcast whatever is in his head to those nearby. Sound good?

Name: He says his name is Sharrow. We haven't yet verified an identity

Gender: Male

Physical Description: Standing at just over six foot, and weighing about 130 lbs, Sharrow is notable for his pale skin and shock of white hair (He sometimes will only refer to himself in the third person as "The gentleman with the thistledown hair").
He does not care for clothes, wearing loose black trousers and, if he can help it, a bear chest, but he is very fond of one item of clothing; a dark green greatcoat of a vaguely military style, which he was wearing when eh was brought to the Asylum. When he cannot be persuaded to cover his torso, it can be seen that his body is lean and well toned, and his condition suggests a man not yet out of his twenties.

Emotional and Mental disposition: Sharrow is a perfect example of bipolar, mixed with schizophrenic delusions. His mood will change in an instant, one moment utterly despairing about some trivial detail, the next taking comfort from a passing word with a 'friend' and the next plotting the downfall of his 'enemies'
'Friends' and 'enemies' are written in inverted commas since they are not mutual relationships; as soon as Sharrow meets someone, he will decide an opinion of them which sticks for as long as he knows them; for example, he is convinced that two of the doctors are trying to kill him, and will only allow himself to be bathed by one of the orderlies, who he refers to as his 'favourite brother'

Reason for being committed:pure and simple, there's no where else to put him. Found a couple of years ago wandering aimlessly and with nothing in his pockets, the authorities have no idea who he is. his condition prevents him from being released, so he is kept in Madam Geria's until his identity can be discovered, or a better place is found for him to remain.

History: Found three years ago wandering around the countryside, Sharrow was quickly seen to be incapable of self-support, and was taken in by the state. The authorities could not deduce his name, and so he was put in Madam Geria's awaiting a 'thorough investigation' which has yet to occur. the staff at Madam Geria's assume Sharrow has simply been forgotten, or his case has been shelved for lack of funding. Either way, it seems Sharrow in here to stay.

When you say in the last RP there were power armours, angels, vampires and werewolves etc, what do you mean? As in, physically they existed, or in the insane people's minds?
And what's the basic story of this RP, it doesn't really say in the OP.
<spoiler=Sheeeeeeeetamundo> Name: James "Jim" Miller

Gender: Male

Physical Description: Tall, white, handsome. Long dirty blonde hair. Averagely built. Dirty finger and toe nails.
White, blank T-shirt and light blue jeans, wearing some stylish sand-coloured sandals on his feet. These were the only clothes the Asylum and police could recover from the fire, as a result small burn marks are on them.

Emotional and Mental disposition: Cheerful, always in a dream-like state; answers people in calm and late responses. Always looking on the brighter side of things, and always imagining surreal and awesome beings and events wherever he goes. He mentally sees himself as sane, and by all means he appears so: He can hold a conversation well, he never babbles inanely, or acts paranoid, none does any of the usual mental people stuff.

Reason for being committed: Jim lived a typical life before the age of 17, when he started getting involved in marijuana use. One night, he got high, and the written-down report of what he saw was an impossible thing: A great, orange and black terrible Dragon. He was found perfectly unharmed in his room, on the bottom floor, however the rest of the four-story apartment building he resided in with his family had burned down, and the inhabitants mutilated by what appeared to be knife slashes.
They then had burned in the blaze.
It is thought that he murdered them and lit the place alight, but his own report stands by the fact that he saw a dragon terrorize the building, clawing the residents and burning the apartments to cinders. He was incarcerated because he was apparently a risk to other people's health.

History: Jim lived in south London most of his life, and he grew up having one of the most boring and ordinary lives imaginable. Due to this monotony, he grew to invent in his head fantastical situations, creatures and people. This pasttime quickly grew into an obsession, and it is here that doctors believe his insanity developed. He started seeing these incredible visions without provocation of his own will; he would just be talking to a friend at school, and in his eyes a man driving past outside would appear as a man riding a unicorn-drawn stagecoach.
This continued on, until the point where most people in his school thought of him as a wierdo due to his looking fascinated at nothing every so often.
Losing interest in his social life, he, while passing his GCSEs, failed to get a successful job due to his unfocused attention and getting distracted by his visions.
It was at that time in his life that he had the vision in his apartment.

Side Notes: Terrified of spiders. If he ever sees one, it will usually appear much larger and demonic than it really is, causing him great distress and panic.

Images (optional): None, sorry.

Hope this is ok, tell me if anything needs changing!

Name:Velicia V Gallah

Physical description:She is 5"8 with two discolored eyes, one is yellow, and the other is purple. She has long brown hair, and usually wears a black dress.

Emotional and Mental description:She is mischeivious, and loves to cause people trouble, she often act in a dark manner towards anyone who she knows, and she does the same to a person who is new to her, and being shy around new people. The main problem with her is the fact that she shows her emotions in the wrong way, and this often causes her to hurt people, when in truth, she doesn't want to. Also, she is known to be a shut in, a person that sometimes wishes to be alone, and also she seems to want to be the center of attention, it would seem that she has a split personality.

Reason for being commited:She would constantly come home, and tend to a large garden, she hated it at first, but after awhile, she got used to it. Her neighbors noticed this, and they found her to be strange, because she always came home, and talked to the plants, she even had tea with them, this wasn't true, but it looked like she was. Then, she had joked that one of the plants wanted to marry her, and she would accept, that is when they decided she was insane, upon further examination, she did have two personalitys, but they had to examine her further.

History:She came from a wealthy family, and she was always a good child, however, she was traumatized when she saw her brother attempt to kill her sister, at the time she was the young age of 7, and thought his speech was true, she then developed a split personality. Later on in live she was the age of 16, and she was often known to have a connection with butterflies, where there was always a few around her, and they all seemed different.

She then became the age of 19, and had become a fine young women, even though everyone in her family had doubts about her, and thought she was a bit strange. Her grandmother then died, and she was left her mansion, which she had a happy time in, but she often grew lonely in the mansion, that is when she formed her connection with the plants, and things went downhill from there.

@Rainboq: I'm thinking of things like causing people hallucinations when his own ideas get really hyped up. I might have Sharrow think that he is a magician, and cast spells, like this one I made up to 'free a man from deception': "Place a swarm of bees at his ears, for bees love the truth, and they will drown out the deceivers lies". This would cause a deafening buzzing in the ears, and a feeling of insects crawling on the skin. Whether or not it would actually affect the mindset of the target is another matter altogether...

On the other hand, Sharrow will do just as well as he is; it's your call

Ahem... Lock this chap away and destroy the key, please.

Carlton Asylum for the mentally ill
Medical file
Subject 140278ERc

Name: Edward Rodham

Gender: Male

Physical Description: Elderly Caucasian male, British citizenship, 53 years of age, 6'3" tall, approx. 180 lbs. Short hair of light grey colouration (Handler note: subject prefers combing it backwards), short but dense beard of same colouration, eyes of light blue colouration (H.N: 'Icy' to be sure). Weathered facial features, pale skin (H.N: must be due to the isolation), signs of scarring on left cheek, fingers, hands, arms. BMI acceptable, healthy amount of muscle (H.N: Stronger than he looks, caution advised to handlers).
(Addit. Handler note: Subject much prefers formal attire when not required to wear the patient gown.)

Emotional and Mental disposition: Cold demeanour, signs of thoughts of superiority, does not express emotions, even negative ones such as pain, but reacts to them in an appropriate fashion. Cold and calculating. Speaks little, rarely initiates conversation, but is capable of prolonged conversation on a wide variety of subjects (H.N: both of academical and general nature) when prompted. Various psychologists have diagnosed him with the following disorders after prolonged observation and conversation:

- Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (Diagnosed after returning from international operations in connection with his military career, it is assumed that he managed to hide his condition from the state employed psychologists for several earlier deployments, and thus avoided treatment while his condition was becoming steadily worse. Was reported as frequent flashbacks, nightmares, hyper-vigilance, periods of insomnia, and bouts of undirected anger. His other disorders are believed to stem from this)

- Anhedonia/Blunted affect (Seems emotionally unresponsive, especially to pleasant emotions. Has not smiled or laughed during his long stay, and does not seem stimulated by conversation or curiosity. Can experience long periods of isolation without further mental degradation)

- Schizoid personality disorder (Lack of social interest, very secretive, emotionally unresponsive)

-[Severe?] Schizophrenia (Seems to suffer from varying hallucinations judging from eye movement and reactions during conversation. Difficult to be sure due to subjects emotional detachment. Also seems delusional at times, yet seems to be able to hold onto facts to an almost obsessive degree)

- Mild Sadistical tendencies (Shows signs of sadism, which seems contrary to his Anhedonia. He should not be able to experience any pleasure from such tendencies so they remain a mystery)

Reason for being committed: Relocation
Facility not well equipped enough to deal with a patient of this calibre any longer, as well as handlers and patients alike fearing interacting with the subject due to several (seemingly planned) incidents and accidents resulting in injuries ranging from mild to severe.
Subject has been held in isolation for the last three months after a particularly nasty incident involving a malfunctioning (suspected sabotaged) service elevator and one of our handlers.

History:
Edward Rodham, born 14th February 19// at Northampton General Hospital, Northampton, England. Spent most of his childhood in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, England after his family moved there when he was 3 months old. Primary and Secondary schools, passed. Minor mentions of bullying during primary, but nothing judged serious enough to cause mental instability. Joined the armed forces at age 18, underwent higher education from ages 20-25 under the Army (Degree unknown), and was promoted to NCO shortly thereafter. Began serving in international operations the same year, being cleared by psychologists before departure (his psych-profile does indeed seem stable at this point).
Few reports from the deployments themselves exist, but he has likely experienced something that would radically change his view of his surroundings (no allied deaths are recorded during this time). Despite this, he managed to act well enough to receive new psych-profiles for further deployments, and some soldiers have described him as becoming more calculating and emotionless during his next periods of deployment over a 10 year period.
This, in addition to reports of him thrashing heavily in his sleep, occasionally staying up many shifts at a time, and being unusually alert even in relatively peaceful areas, eventually lead to him being suspended and put under more through observation for his next psych evaluation.
He failed spectacularly when he gave himself up, apparently seeing no point in continuing his charade, which landed him here in the Carlton Asylum for the mentally ill to receive the treatment he needed. However, he remains impervious to medication and therapy, and we are seeing nothing other than a continued drop into an emotionless state of insanity.

Side Notes:
- He reads often as part of his therapy, as they hope this will stimulate his sense of curiosity, instead it seems as effective as telling him to toss a beanbag into a wall repeatedly, he merely continues to do it because it takes up time, nothing more. It does leave him with a lot knowledge though.
- He seems to be able to make accidents happen at an increased rate around him, whether this is the result of direct sabotage or supernatural powers is not known.
